Gators need all 4 quarters to beat Vandy
    27-21
Louchez Purifoy came up with two big second half interceptions to set up the Gators for opportunities to score and beat Vandy. Gators keep their SEC East hopes alive with a hige game vs. South Carolina looming.
Brissett was able to hit Debose and Pittman for TD's in this one.
Dominique Ealey also added 2 sacks.

BLOOMINGTON, IN -- Not much to say about this game. Indiana is awful. Game was over before it started...

    Highlights -
Chris Fields (backup punt returner with a nice PR for a TD)

Coachless Bulldogs No Match For Vols
Duo of Hunter and Rogers lead Vols to 1st SEC Win, 35-3
    [IMG]
Tennessee notched their first SEC of the year with a convincing win over Mississippi State. Coach Hackgolfer had a last minute emergency and was unable to lead his team against the Vols. It certainly, showed. After getting on the board 1st with a field goal on their second possession, Miss State allowed the Vols to run off 35 unanswered in what was by far the most complete game Tennessee has played this season. After leading at the half 7-3, the Vols erupted for 14 in the 3rd and 14 more in the final frame. Tyler Bray was on point, finishing 12-18 for 233 yards and 4 TD's. In the 2nd half, WR's Hunter and Rogers came alive with 3 of those TD's between them on a combined 8 catches for 195 yards. Jr HB Marlon Lane contributed 134 yards on the ground, 45 of those coming on a TD scamper to put the game out of reach in the 4th.
Defensively, the Vols held the Bulldogs to 250 total yards. The defensive effort was helped by the absence of Coach Golfer, as MSU's playcalling was uncharacteristicly pass oriented even before they had fallen behind. Tennessee inproves to 4-2 (1-2) and now must face the freefalling Tide of Alabama who have now lost 2 straight.

Which proves that the playcalling tendency slider is worthless. I think I am at 60/40 for Run/Pass. Good beating though onaradio34. Wish I could have actually been there to put up a bit of a fight!

They did not run ONE SINGLE read option and only tried a few runs that had any pre-snap motion.

You are at 60/40, but if your playbook is 70% passing, there is your problem. Somebody on OS did the math on that for the '09 game. I remember it from a long time back. It actually made it pretty accurate.

And I have to laugh because whenever I saw Iowa simmed stats last year, VDB always had like a minimum of 10 runs, meaning they were running the read option with him.

Yeah, playbook is pretty balanced. A lot of read option, option and HB pistol or shotgun runs, so a bit surprising that radio saw very little of any of those.

No need to be embarrassed. LSU is a strong kick in the nuts this season. I think they would be a tough win for any user team here.
