This game was over in the 1st Qtr. Air Force put 21 on the board, including a FG return from RB C.Getz. In the 2nd Qtr, the other Getz brother, WR C.Getz would get into the act with a TD catch from QB Jefferson. Jefferson went 9/10 for 130 yards and 1 TD. Air Force put up another 21 in the 2nd Qtr. They would sub in their 2nd team and run the clock almost the whole 2nd half. The controlled the clock for over 22 minutes of the game. The defense shut down the UNLV offense, not allowing a score. UNLV's only score came off a fumble recovery.... they missed the XP.

    Tulane 31 UTEP 21

Tulane dominates UTEP in everything but the scoreboard. The Green Wave outgained the Miners by almost 400 yds but two Tulane turnovers turned into 14 points the UTEP. it was a bad day if you were a star for tulane as their starting qb. rb. and receiver missed time with injuries. The good news for tulane is they may have found a future star in freshman qb Parham passed for 93 yds and rushed for 41 while filling in at qb.

The Arkansas State Red Wolves drop their first Sun Belt Conference game to rival North Texas. Arkansas State, plagued with turnovers and injury problems, fell behind 14-0 and being outscored by 21 points in the fourth quarter.

The Arkansas State offense wasn't as powerful as previous games with the loss of starting WR Lucious Henderson and RB Derek Lawson. Quarterbacks Ryan Aplin and Philip Butterfield split time, combining for 5 interceptions, 2 of which were returned for touchdowns.

The Red Wolves defense struggled allowing 443 total yards of offense with 330 of it being in the air.

The Red wolves will need to get back on tack next week against the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
