ECU kept it close till the 4th when we gave up 35 points and just could not do anything on off or def.The coach will have to regroup and get the team back on track.

    Week 7

    UCF 28 - Marshall 21

On paper this one may have looked like an easy game for the Knights. But if you erase the names Calabrese & Harvey, and it becomes a little bit closer. Harvey was off on his normal pace when he was knocked out in the first half for a week with back spasms. Calabrese was lost for 2 quarters with an undisclosed injury. Enter backup QB J. Godfrey & RB J. Davis. Godfrey played like a senior even though he is only a Sophmore. Davis has been in Harvey's shadow for a while that sometimes coaches forget how good the junior is. The defense played solid in the second half which was needed as UCF was down 21-7. They would not let Marshall score again as they mounted their comeback. Davis would carry the rock 20+ times for over 100+ yards.
The Knights will travel to face Rice next week, hopefully with a healthy offense.

In a game where the Midshipmen showed as much heart and class as you would expect from any academy, it was not enough to hold off the relentless stampede. Sophmore QB Kyle Pardon led his Mustangs to tune of 400+ yards passing and 4 touchdowns. Pardon has become among the top in passing in the nation. When asked about his team's roller coaster season he said, "every day we just try to get better and better. Today was no pretty win, but it could have been an ugly loss."
