UNLV outlasts FIU comeback bid, notches 2nd win of the season.

What seemed like a normal game ultimately turned into a crazy game during the 4th quarter. The first three quarters I completely dominated the game with my option offense eating up clock and defense stifling Crumb's run-heavy offense. I went into the fourth quarter leading 27-7. Then, Crumb caught fire throwing for a pair of TDs which were aided by an onside kick recovery.

    1st||2nd||3rd||4th
    FIU 0 7 0 14
    UNLV 3 17 7 0

    Total Offense:

    FIU: 258 (200 pass, 58 rush)
    UNLV: 376 (86 pass, 290 rush)

    Turnovers:
    FIU: 1
    UNLV: 0

    Players of the game:
FIU: QB Jake Medlock 6-13 200 yards 2 TD 1 INT
UNLV: RB Tim Cornett 12 carries, 200 yards 1 TD

    nice comeback crumb, gg.

    UNLV moves to 2-5 (2-2)

    Next UP: @CMU vs Snoopy.

I just did. Lost 34-19 to UTEP. My WR slipped on a dig route on my first drive and it cost me an int. I was like "well thats pretty cool/realistic, neato." Then it happened EVERY fucking time I passed the ball while I don't recall UTEP ever slipping. No offense, no rhythm. CPU decided it was gonna win that one from the get go.

    New Mexico- 24
    Nevada- 7

The Lobos win! The Lobos win! I had begun to think I was gonna pull a Crumb this season, but I finally got a W. I expected tough-sledding against Nevada which is a B overall compared to my D+, but my defense was determined. The D really won this game as I got a pick-6 as well as a fumble recovery inside their 10 yard line. My punter was clutch as well with some big boots to keep the field postion advantage.

My QB managed to go 3-15 for 27 yds and 2 INTs. Not his best game, but sadly it prolly wasn't his worst either. Not the prettiest victory but the defense was stout today and defense wins championships...Not my defense obviously, cuz my offense is so terrible, but other defenses...they win championships.

Has there ever been a worse game played by a winning QB?
