well thats my luck! Bishop played a good game IMO. the Akron defense made plays i didnt think was physically possible for players this skill level while my defense missed out on some big momentum shifting plays. and my WRs dropped WAY to many passes! there was 8 recorded drops and I always play conservative catching! some plays were huge situations to

all in all, a fun game. I think we were fairly evenly matched but the turnovers gave him free points

but a loss is a loss

Yea it was a very even matchup talent wise. Yea I always seem to have some ridiculous interceptions where my DB's make plays you wouldn't think were possible. I think FMF fell victim to it last year in the worst way. Also when I threw the ball at your guys it would just hit them in the hands and that was pretty much the difference in the game as my the only interception I threw was picked by a DT and I was able to win the TO battle 3-1 plus a safety. The game was definitely entertaining though as it pretty much came down to the last possession. I punted with a minute to play and Oshi having two time outs. I pinned him at the 11 though and was able to get a sack on 1st down and then a safety on 2nd down which sealed the game. I did have to punt one more time time expired during the punt return and I escaped my 1st user game with a one score win.

I still cringe when I think about those picks I threw and that safety that gave you the lead because my WR fell down and apparently EA thinks it's a physical impossibility to throw a ball if your target is open but on his knees. Cost me the division championship and a prestige star. Though 9 wins and a 3rd place finish still shouldve bumped me up to 2* anyway. Big middle finger to EA.

    Kent-45
    FAU-6

Weird game to say the least. Midway through the 3rd quarter, the score was 24-6 but all Kent's points had come from pick 6's save a FG. Both teams had thrown 3 picks a piece but all of mine had gone for scores. That kept me in good position until I could get things figured out on offense and rattle off another 21 points from two long runs by McKinney (12 car, 116 yds, 2 TDs) and a beautiful fade to freshman WR Kendrick.

Galt had about as rough a day as I did but didn't get the points from his defense and therefore became one dimensional.

POTG: combo of CBs Polk and true freshman Adrian Foster. Both had 2 INTs and 1 TD each (32 yards and 89 yards respectively)

Kent coach Dirtyass has decided to spend another week in Florida before taking on FIU next weekend.

    Memphis beats CPU-EMU 38-14.

After falling behind 14-3, Memphis got jumpstarted when freshman wideout Trevor McKnight took a kickoff back 91 yards for a score, his second TD return in as many games. That really seemed to pick up the Tigers, and after an interception on the ensuing EMU possession Memphis took the lead for good when McKnight caught a 3-yard slant in the endzone.

Kind of a strange game as EMU lined up against in a Quarter defense most of the time that I ran a two TE set. Pretty much turned me into a ball control offense and my defense stiffened up after allowing them a few early scores.

EMU remains winless and Memphis improves to 4-2 (3-0). Tigers take on 5-1 NMSU next week.

    FIU Stuns MTSU 40-34

For a game that Nikpin wanted sim, I'm personally glad that he's not commissioner. FIU managed to hold on in a crazy, back and forth contest 40-34 when MTSU's final hail mary ended up 5 yards short. I'm personally speechless. The game literally went back and forth throughout between Steamer and myself. My defense played phenomenal managing to get 4 INT's, while MTSU's managed 2 on Jake Medlock. The game was 20-13 at halftime. The MVP ultimately for the contest was mykicker Jack Griffin who managed 4 FG's including two critical FG's in the fourth quarter(one from 50 and one in the closing 20 seconds to force Steamer to go for a TD at the end.)

Ben Cunningham ran for 207 yards and 2 TD's for MTSU. FIU was paced by the balanced attack of Jake Medlock's 11/23 passing for 278 and 2 TD's and 2 INT's to go along with Damian Mallary's 27 rushes for 103 yards and 2 TD's.

    GG Steamer.

Ya that game was crazy. I started with a pick then the TD. Then Crumb scored 20 unanswered, then I scored 20 unanswered to retake the lead, then Crumb scored 20 more unanswered points. lol At the end I got the ball with 8 seconds left at the 10 with no time-outs. Threw a 30 yard pass to the 40 and with 2 seconds left managed to get the snap off and chucked one that was caught by my WR at the 6 and he got taken down just as he made the catch at the 4 yard line.
