I want everyone to watch the highlights I saved this week vs EMU. The first one is just a user pick but the second is Crumb's starting freshman LG playing DB in his Dime 3-2-6 (some guys must've been tired). Watch as his 6'5 276 lb guard with 63 speed, 53 man coverage and 65 agility presses my WR and turns with him and covers both legs of a post route like a DB and get a pic. I thought it was ridiculous that a LB could cover that well so imagine my shock to find out it was on offensive lineman! I've been practicing against Cover 2 man press and it seems like any time the D presses they cover like Darrell Revis. When facing the press, my QB's throws are just off enough for the D to make a play on it. For example, I tried to throw a go route vs man press with no help over the top and couldn't complete one. The WR had a step on the DB every time but my QB couldn't drop it in like he could vs normal coverage.

    Man press is broken.

Man is ridiculous on this game. Don't forget they even toned it down in one of the tuners/patches too.

yeah, last year I played some awesome defense with plays like Cover 3 and occasional Cover 2...this year that's suicide unless you get ridiculous pressure

Like I said, I get dang tired of the man press defense. Ridiculous. I noticed it when I got shut down consistently by corners that were -10 to my receivers. I had no idea it was this bad though. What do we do about it?

My corners get beat all the time even with man press. I can't stop anyone. And as far as offense it hasn't slowed me down too much.
Again, like I mentioned in a previous post I don't really think it matters since most of us are still scoring a lot of points. Last week only 1 team had less then 20 points and most of people had scores in the 30's and 40's, with even some in the 60s. Those scores don't make me think we need any restrictions on the defense.
Thats just 1 guys thoughts though...

In a close, back and forth battle, Potato Magic got back on track against BJC. (I've joined an Idaho message board and that's what we call Boise State. Taking back Idaho-- Mission Accomplished. Their recruiting has been terrible and it's starting to show. I'm now 3-0 against them as well. Side note, being blocked at work is killing my ability to post good write-ups.

Army comes up short against #5 WMU 35-33. Really wasn't too much defense for either team. Army missed a 2pt attempt to tie it late and stalled on their following drive after forcing a turn over. With the rest of the hard 4 yards crew on voice chat it felt like an away game for both teams lol. Army falls to 1-6 on the year and Nik is still a cheesin SOB lol good game.

Probably the best game of the week in all of college football if highly entertaining is an important aspect to the viewer experience. With 9 turnovers and a late-game rally, there isn't much more you could ask. ASU dominated the time of possession stat, but failed to hold onto the ball in key situations. Particularly a redzone interception that delayed a scoring drive.
The 4th quarter was the climactic ending that was typical of such a entertaining game. MTSU takes the lead 21-17 after a 4 yard rush that was set up by a fumble recovery. But ASU fired back and drove down the field and scored on 3rd down with a 4 yard rush of their own, only leaving MTSU 1:01 on the clock, with 1 timeout left.
The hurry-up offense of the Blue Raiders proved potent as they scored a touchdown in only 33 seconds with a 30 yard pass to wideout Brian Gilliam. ASU had gall and still fought to get in inside their 35 with time expiring. The game had everyone on edge as it proved to be a great game and an instant classic.

That what we call them on the Fresno State board as well- It's because Boise State was an actual JC and wasn't an official 4-year university until the 70's if you didnt know

    ULL - Alot
    Kent St. - A little

Kent St. returned to Lafayette looking to score a second win over the Ragin' Cajuns. However the Cajun defense had other plans, quickly shutting down the Golden Flashes offense giving the Cajun offense enough time to score a comfortable 28 point lead early in the first half. The secondary all had career days amassing 7 interceptions combined. Mike James strengthened his bid for Heisman racking up 5 rushing touchdowns and adding a recieving TD for good measure.
