You wanna do our little dance tonight? Or tomorrow night?

BTW, props to you for sticking around. It's down to me, you and DirtyCash as the only ones that have been here the entire time.

Please explain to the group why you're leaving, if you don't mind.

WOW, you guys must really love me...or just REALLY like that patsy user win ;)

What drew me to the OD was the concept of different teams, all in one conference with alot of user games. I especially enjoyed bsing over chat with my opponent during the game...just chatting, bitching about EA bs impacting a play and even learning some things as we talked about what happened on a play. Made the game more enjoyable for me, it felt more like a friendly game.

The chatting has become less and less and that is what really upped my enjoyment of the OD. I understand some players have no interest in chatting or broken/missing/no mics no problem. I also wonder if NCAA burn out is contributing to the lack of conversation (after all, it is that time of year for the "lull" where people take a break, then dust it off around Jun in aniticpation '14 coming out in a month).

Scheduling user games has also gotten more challenging with each season. We all work, but with wife, 2 kids, 2 dogs to schedule around, I will readily admit the old man here is more challenging to work around. Spring is coming which will impact my availabililty even more (wife reminded me last night our son starts baseball in the next few weeks and my daughter has her first track meet this weekend).

It isnt fair to make others risk a sim loss due to inability to schedule a game, and I didnt join to be on auto or just recruit and let users beat up on coach CPU. So feel it is best for the OD to retire.

Good luck with the remainding seasons! I will still be playing NCAA when I can, feel free to hit me up for a game if ya want to practice!

    Shame to lose you.

But have to agree. Our message board is nothing compared to what it used to be... And I know I say it too often but I still very much miss our dynasty from two years ago with Steamer, Hammer, Fever, JohnGalt, Crumb, Nik, DC and others. We only had one program that became a revolving door. Other than that, the other 11 teams stayed consistent. I'd be willing to bet we had the most active board that year. And we all knew the winner of each and every matchup. Those were the days...

Thanks for the explanation. I didn't want it to look like you were leaving because I played your auto'd team if that wasn't the case. You're a good dude and I hate to lose you. I'll hit you up next season if/when we have an opening.

I think it's prolly cuz you played his auto team you dirty cheater. Btw, the mighty Hoyas look to have this side of the division locked down. Would love an undefeated #1 vs #2 for our conference title game.

I think if you read between the lines of his explanation that was the reason.

Nothing to do with you playing my team on auto, nothing at all. If I were bothered by losses, I would have quit a long time ago.

Reading between the lines, you'd rather sit the season out than suffer another Yale ass kicking.
