Defense leads way to 45-7 win
The game couldn't have started off any better for Florida State as true freshman RB Kevin Johnson took the opening kick 88 yards for the touchdown. FSU added 10 more points in the second quarter to give the Seminoles a 17-0 heading into half. While the Wake Forest defence tried admirably to contain the FSU offence and actually forced 3 turnovers, it was the Demon Deacon offence that was totally outmatched by Florida State defence. WF only managed 165 yards of total offence including a pultry 0.7 yards a carry on the ground.

Kentucky was just completely overmatched this game, only venturing into scoring position twice all game, both times missing field goals. The Auburn defense was stout, only allowing 190 yards of total offense. Kentucky halfbaack J. Clemons ran his butt off, but despite seven broken tackles, was only able to average a measly 3.3 yards a rush. The Tiger defense also held Kentucky wuarterback J. Russell to a 39% completion rate on only nine completions.

    Dawgs destroy Commodores 62-28!

In week 8 the Bulldogs destroyed the Vanderbilt Commodores 62-28. It was a close game in the 1st half but in the 2nd half the Georgia defense figured out the Vandy offense and rolled to a 62-28 victory. Isaiah Crowell had another good game rushing for 119 yards on 18 carries and had another 3 touchdowns. Christian Lemay completed 7 out of 13 passes and threw for 144 yards and 1 touchdown. But neither Crowell or Lemay were the stars of this game. Senior KR/PR/WR Malcolm Mitchell was the star this time returning 5 kickoffs for 2 touchdowns and had 267 return yards. If it wasn't for Mitchell's returns in the first half ho knows how the game would have ended up because he kept us in the game in the first half. Next week the Bulldogs play Missouri at home in another SEC East showdown.

Oklahoma looked to rebound from their week 7 loss to Texas as they took on the Jayhawks in Lawrence. Things looked bleak for the Sooners in the first quarter, as they found themselves trailing 10-7 due to 2 fumbles by HB Brandon Williams. However, Williams was able to turn it around for the remainder of the game and lead OU to victory. Following the sub-par first quarter, Oklahoma's offense picked it up and really started clicking. QB Blake Bell played a great game, finding receivers on short passing routes in an attempt to neutralize Kansas's great safeties. The running game also played well, running for 165 yards in the game.

    Key performers:
    QB Blake Bell - 24/30, 304 yards, 2 TD
HB Brandon Williams - 23 carries, 144 yards, 3 TD
WR Mark Poole - 6 rec, 98 yards
WR Keith Harrell - 2 rec, 58 yards, TD

    Miami 41

Miami gets the solid win against SMU, they didnt want to get into a throwing match this game and were determined to hold things down on the line. They did that, allowing Eduardo Clements to run for 164 yards and 3 touchdowns.
