    Week 8: Packers (31) Jets (29)

The Packers edged out the Jets in New York. The Jets scored first with a pick six by Lito Sheppard. Then the Packers answered back with 2 TD's, one by Jennings and one on a short screen pass by Brandon Jackson. New kicker Suisham tacked on 3 more before Jay Feely hit a field goal with no time left in the first half. Halftime score: 17-10 Packers. Most of the third quarter saw no scoring as a defensive battle took place. Feely hit another field goal with 26 seconds left to cut the lead to 17-13. On the next drive by Green Bay, Grant scored on a 66 yard run to put the Pack up 24-13. 2 minutes later Grant scored again to extend the lead to 31-13. This is when the game got interesting. The Jets scored on the next two drives, a field goal by Feely and a 10 yard run by James. These scores pulled the Jets within a touchdown with a 2 point conversion. The Packers were trying to run out the clock when Grant fumbled deep in GB territory. Mark Sanchez hit Cotchery with a 4 yard TD pass to pull the Jets within 2 but they fail at the conversion attempt. The Packers successfully run out the clock to win the game. 2 missed FG's by Feely end up being crucial.
