Maryland falters against the Wolfpack at home 31-14!!!
College Park, MD-- A humbled sellout crowd as left Byrd Stadium as they saw the air attack of North Carolina State light up the Maryland defense and walk away with a 31-14 win over the Terps on this Saturday.
A freak accident in practice on Friday on CJ Brown's pinky finger when threw a ball and his follow through hit a defensemen helmet and was pretty sore. Insert Ricky Schultz to start this game. The Terps were hoping for some magic on this day but no avail the Wolfpack started going to work early in the first quarter after a 3 and out by the Terps the Wolfpack would score on a 55 yard pass play to lead 7-0. The Wolfpack would settle for a field goal late in the quarter Wolfpack up 10-0.
The second quarter would come and the Terps would score on a 73 yard bomb to Kerry Boykins and the Terps would only be down 14-7 by the game changing play to end the half a hail mary in the end zone which would get knocked down and batted around would wind up in the arms of a Wolfpack receiver to go in the locker room up 17-7.
Maryland picked themselves off the ground in the third quarter as Justus Pickett would run it in for 8 yards to make it 17-14 Wolfpack. The ensuing drive would let to a touchdown on another pass by the best quarterback the Terps have played against all year in Mike Glennon and the Wolfpack would score in the fourth quarter to ice the game for the Wolfpack. Final Score 31-14 Wolfpack.
Coach Moss after the game. "We had some chances in this game and Ricky played as best as he could on such short notice but he was off today throwing 3 INT'S and Justus played a whale of a game for us. He runs the ball really well for us. The defense had some struggles today especially stoping there passing game. They found ways to get open in spaces in our zones and Glennon would throw a frozen rope everytime to one of them especially there best wide out Underwood."
So up north the Terps go to meet Boston College another really talented team and very well coached too.

    Aggies Shine in Renewed Rivalry
Texas A&M looked sharp after their week off against the Tigers of LSU. Showers looked outstanding at QB throwing 11/13 for 266 yrds and 4 TD's on the night. Christine Michael keep the balance on the ground as well, running 27 times for 115 yards and another TD. Kendrick McNeal had a breakthrough game as well, catching 2 huge TD passes in a 3 reception game with 111 yards. Defense played very well keeping the Tigers out of the endzone. The Aggies tallied up 7 sacks on the day, one of the being a safety. LB Sean Porter made a huge mark as he had 4 solo tackles and 3 sacks of his own. A&M is showing that they do belong in the best conference in the NCAA and made a statement for their campaign to a BCS bowl game.
