True that. Just a hard one to take being up 7 with 2 min to go and losing by 14 with a ton of recruits visiting. At least im in the games this year, last years losses were another story.

Navy seems to really work on recovering fumbles and then immediately shedding tackles afterward.

Beat Pitt 36-14. QB Brewster was questionable and got had a mild re-injury after the first drive so I played Idaho transfer Butler the rest of the way. The offense sputtered again in the red zone. Kicked 5 field goals- only 1 over 25 yards. All 3 of my TDS came off of turnovers inside the 10.
Thats 12 field goals in the last 3 games

Glad that butler is working out for you. Seeing more PT for you than he would've for me. He was no match for Brent Terry, who led the nation in passing yards as a soph.

    JQWON LOSES
    (again)
This was actually a really good defensive battle between me and JQwon (I know, what the fuck? defense? Yup) where several turnovers and dropped passes by both teams really slowed down the pace of the game. Bl0nde and JQwon set a Hard4Yards record with 5 total punts in this game as well.
Arkansas State managed to take the opening kickoff, get down to the Kent State red zone, then cough the ball up via fumble setting up a score from 42 yards away by the Golden Flashes to take the early 7-0 lead. Arkansas State was able to swing momentum in the 2nd quarter, outscoring the Flashes 21-7, thanks to two touchdowns in the final couple minutes, which was helped by a defensive stand.
The third quarter saw both teams trade 80+ yard TD runs, and in the 4th quarter, Kent State threw 2 costly interceptions on drives where it looked like they might score. The last one basically ended the game, as Arkansas State picked it with only a few minutes left, and were able to take the clock down to :30 before kicking a FG to go up 10, essentially ending the game.
ASU POTG: Jakhari Gore - 27 Car, 226 Yds, 4TD
KSU POTG: Tim King - 6 Rec, 142 Yds, TD
Good game, JQwon, looking forward to next year.

I'm enjoying it. It offers a good variety of QB runs, read options, north/south runs, east, west runs, and option plays so the running game is pretty dynamic. Also you've got more than enough pass plays to keep things fresh.

Yeah you too... I deserved to lose for throwing those two picks. Those weren't the game just screwing me or crazy plays, they were just horrible decisions on my part to turn the ball loose... One of those, before it even got picked, I was like what was I thinking...

May Has Career Day, WMU Hangs On
    [IMG]
    #4 Western Michigan 42
    Idaho 35

Western Michigan had been looking forward to this rematch since falling at home vs Idaho in 2010. The game was closer than they hoped as both teams scored at will as each team punted only once. With Idaho down 7 and driving with under a minute to play FS Walter Battle made his second and game clinching INT on a post route.

Some of the highlights of the game were WMU HB Silas Redds 51 yard punt return when the punter took him down. Idaho RB Shawn Calhoun went untouched on a 77 yard TD run and had 21 carries for 146 yards and two scores on the day. Robert Bolden was 14/19 for 388 yards with 3 passing TD's and 1 rushing TD. Corey May was on the receiving end of most of those passes as he caught 9 balls for 310 yards and 3 scores. Jim Rice threw for 281 yards but was knocked out late in the game by the WMU pass rush.

Despite Idaho dominating TOP 21:57 to 10:03 but didn't have enough to take down #4 WMU.

    ULL - 20
    UAB - 17

This was quite the odd game in the context of this season, for the Cajun's at least, as it was a defensive battle rather than an offensive one. The game began with a 70 yard kick return by SS Lance Kelley. Coach snoopy then tried to pound it the rest of the way with star halfback Mike James. After 2 solid runs James coughs up the ball on the 5. it was the start of quite the rough game as James would cough it up 2 more times. UAB jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead as coach recchem's team made the Cajuns pay for the turnovers. The cajun's saw 2 promising drives sputter near the redzone and they had to settle for field goals making the score 14-6. The Cajuns then scored 14 unanswered while playing some excellent defense, getting sacks and forcing quite a few 3rd and longs (which were converted with annoying frequency, to the credit of UAB. After missing a UAB FG, the Cajuns drove down with a long catch and run from freshman stud Chad Newton to score. UAB took the field down 3 on the final possession and connect on a huge pass putting them right next to FG range. The Cajun D stepped up however forcing 4th down. with only about a minute left in the game the UAB kicker came in to attempt the game tying field goal but came up just short. Great game Recchem can't wait for next years!
