Earliest advance would be Thursday at 4:30 if the user games get done early, Friday at 4:30 if not.

Demon Deacons Vent Some Anger, Bury Terps 62-24

There were some members of the national media who had some harsh things to say about Wake Forest putting up 62 points in a game that was rarely in question, but all coach Selvy had to do was point to last week. "When you give up a 28 point lead to Duke, you probably won't take your foot off the gas again. Ever."

It took just over 3 quarters, but senior QB Tanner Price had a career day, throwing for 473 yards and 7 TDs, 4 of those going to Mike Campanero, who finished the day with 222 yards. The last play the starters saw was "Sugar" Shane Ragland return a punt for the 62nd point of the day. Finally, the head coach felt save with a 38 point lead and the 2nd stringers saw out the game.

Irish Romp in Win Over Illinois

This one was over before it started, the Illini student managers were seen wiping puddles of urine that had formed around the players as they stood shaking in the tunnel waiting to run on the field. It was embarrassing really.

Player of the game had to go to George Atkinson III (heretofore known to you all as GA3). The guy is unstoppable in the return game, with his second game have both kick and punt return TD's. The overmatched Illini players were grasping at air every time they went after him.

The real news of the day was star RB Cierre Wood going down for 3 weeks with a strained shoulder. He had just crossed the thousand yard mark and was on his way to a huge season, so it's a shame it had to happen in a laugher like this. It will give backups Amir Carlisle and GA3 a shot to get some reps and gain valuable experience, and there really shouldn't be much of a drop off in production.

Chelf Leads the Cowboys Past Bears
    42-21
Clint Chelf was cleared to play against Baylor late Friday night, and he reminded everyone why he's a Heisman contender after missing a majority of last week's game. Chelf threw for 423 yards and 6 touchdowns against the Baylor Bears. It wasn't a flawless game for Chelf though. He did seem to get a little overaggressive in the second half and threw two interceptions which allowed Baylor to come within 14 points, however the Bears never really threatened in the game.
The Cowboys opened up the game on a 28-0 run. Baylor finally added a field goal right before the half. The Bears managed to outscore the Cowboys in the Second half 18-14, but the damage had been done in the first two quarters. The Cowboys played a prevent defense during the entire second half and a few turnovers kept the Pokes from scoring more often.
