Escaped the Swamp with a 46-41 win after a rediculous 4th quarter. Led 19-7 late in the 3rd then UF scored a TD. First play of the 4th Florida scores a TD and my next offensive snap my RB fumbles and UF returns it for a TD and the Gators are up 19-29. I got 2 TDs to retake the lead which was followed by trading lead changing TDs untill Florida led 41-40 with 2 minutes left. I got inside the redzone and ran out the clock and punched in the GW touchdown to win 46-41.

You are looking at the first post where I posted the final standings... look in that same thread and go down to about the third post where I actually preview this year. You are picked 2nd and also picked to upset Nik... so if you really want to make me look like a genius then beat Nik.

I'm with hammer. No more suction. Momentum tackles. No more warp catches and sliding INTs. Hard to not be excited about 12.

The early previews make it look like the most "realistic" feeling game to date.

Eagles Run Over MTSU To Win #6:

Murfreesboro, Tennessee - The Eastern Michigan Eagles clinched their first .500 season since 1995 when the Eagles went 6-5. The Eagles were paced on this day by Charlie Vaughn who ran for an amazing 270 yards against the MTSU defense, as he was able to get around the outside of the MTSU defense throughout the contest.

The Eagles started the game on a high note early in the contest when the Eagles hit a long Pass play from Dustin Mayes to Ronnie Reid on a 77 yard pass within 43 seconds to put the Eagles up 7-0. The Eagles would then double their lead when Charlie Vaughn would take a carry 80 yards for a touchdown to push the score to 14-0. The end of the scoring in the first half was when the Eagles were able to put a FG at the closing gun to make it 17-0 EMU at halftime.

In the second half, MTSU came out focused and ready to play and would score the next 10 points in the contest. Middle Tennessee State would score at the 3:43 mark in the third period when Kevin Mack hit Jon Johnson wide open to make the score 17-7. After the Eagles would be forced to give the ball back to MTSU, they would capitalize with a FG at the 5:31 mark in the fourth to make it 17-10. The Eagles on this evening were not to be denied as the Eagles would get another long run from Vaughn and would capitalize with a TD to make it 24-10. MTSU would then on the following possession throw an INT and EMU would score one more FG to push the game back up to 27-10. MTSU would score late to make it 27-17 put that would be the end of the scoring.

    EMU moves to 6-3, 2-3 in C-USA.

Also zone defense actaully works! I think it might even work a little too well. Hopefully offense will be more difficult in '12!

Where are you guys getting the zone defense thing from? Most of the info is blocked at work so I just get pieces of what other people copy/paste onto boards that arent blocked.
