    Week 9- Cardinals 13 @ Seahawks 34

Seahawks keep to their game plan for the most part which is try to feel a team out and see if you can get a short field with TO's, that is what happened in this one.

Game started out kind of slow with a first quarter that had only FG's. Seahawks had a 3-0 lead and the ball deep after a Leftwich int but Hasselbeck got fooled by E Wilson and gave it right back on a pick. Seattle held Zona to a FG. Hawks then drove the field mixing some passes to Brandon Marshall and rookie TE Adam Saint and some runs to Portis. They would finally punch it in to take a 10-3 lead late 2nd quarter. The Cards went on a nice drive themselves hitting some underneath passes but with under a minute left Matt Leinart was picked this time which lead to a late FG for Seattle and a 13-3 halftime lead.

In the second half Arizona went on a drive to start that looked like an earlier successful drive but had to settle for a long FG making 13-6. Late in the 3rd quarter however Hasselbeck found TE John Carlson open in the back of the endzone for a TD making it 20-6 to start the 4th quarter. The Cards marched down the field again using some nice spot running from Justin Fargas ending in a TD run by Fargas making it very interesting and the crowd grew nervous 20-13 Seattle about 5+ left in the 4th. Coach DJ Dunn pulled Hasselbeck aside and told him take care of the ball and run it. Of course Matt did not listen calling an audible and finding WR Brandon Marshall on the side line safety E Wilson was there for the coverage but looked to dive for the ball too soon and Brandon walked down the sideline for a 54 yd TD and momentum was back for the home team. " That was huge" said coach Dunn "I could feel the pressure and us blowing another lead". The Cards kept hitting back but when CB R Mathis jumped an out route and took it 85 yards to the house that was it. Final tonight 34-13. Seahawks move to 6-2 and at least keep some pressure on the undefeated 9ers for the division. It is hard for a team to over come 5 ints and the Cards could not. GG Pbates you will get that team turned around in the off season your style fits the league nice, just some curious moves made before you got there in key spots.

    Hasselbeck 17-24-263-2 TD's 1 Int
    Portis 23-127-1TD and 1 fumble
    B Marshall 5-126 and 1 huge TD
    Adam Saint 3-46
    Carlson 3-31 and 1 TD
