Kansas City -- The Dolphins defense showed up again.

    Surprise, surprise.

Sean Smith led the way with 2 interceptions as the Dolphins improved to 8-0 in their 31-7 dismantling of t
    the Chiefs.

"We came to play today and it showed," Dolphin coach Matt Davis said.

The Dolphin offense bounced back from a dismal performance in New York to produce 31 points.

Reggie Bush carried the ball 14 times for 63 yards two touchdowns. Devin Thomas led the team in rushing yards with 130 yards on 12 carries as he took over for Bush in the blowout.

Brandon Marshall caught nine of Henne's 12 completions, tallying 101 yards and 1 touchdown.

Still, the Dolphins would like to face more user competition as they head into the second half of the season.

"Users are a better test for us," Davis said. "We have some tough games coming up and we're excited about it."
