Clemson traveled to Georgia to take on those pesky Yellow Jackets and came out with a tough 43-23 victory. It was a back and forth affair and the Tigers were in a dog fight. They led 7-0 after 1 and 20-16 at the half. At the end of 3 it was 23 all and then the Tigers exploded for 20 points in the 4th QTR as their defense sealed with victory by returning a fumble 70 yards for a TD with under 2 minutes remaining.

Roderick McDowell was the POG as he rebounded from a tough week last to run for 139 yards and a score. Mike Bellamy continues his fin running with 2 td's on the ground. QB Taj Boyd played mistake free football work a workman like 10-15-186 yards.

On defende CB Darius Robinson had a 6 tackles and a INT and JR Garry Peter had 5 tackles and he returned the fumble 70 yards for a TD in the 4th QTR.

GT highlight was BJ Bostic who ran for 116 yards on only 10 carries. WR Jerem Moore had 4 catchs for 77 yards and a TD.

    Duke 13
    Miami 48

Miami handled duke from the outset in this one, RB Eduardo Clements returned the opening kickoff for a TD and the rout was on. Miami really did what it wanted when it wanted to offensively and cracked the 100 yard rushing mark for the first time this season. QB Ryan Williams put up 212 yards and 2 touchdowns as well. The defense got in on the action with 2 scores of its own and was never really troubled with the Duke option attack.

    Texas 38, BYU 10

This game was decided at the opening kickoff. Texas was fired up after a bullshit loss to Florida at home, giving them 2 losses on the year. Both were back to back. Nothing could cure a losing streak better than a matchup with 0-7 BYU. Malcolm Brown had another big game, and can hopefully move into Heisman discussion. The really trouble we had was pass protection, as BYU sent a lot of blitzes. At one point QB Case Mccoy was knocked from the game with a sore elbow. That was about the biggest scare we had in this one.

Looks like Williams and my QB Webb are battling it out for top QB in the nation. Nice to see Williams didn't pass for 350+ yards again :) lol

Alabama's streak at six after rolling Tennessee (4-3)
After falling twice in as many weeks to #12 Kansas and Duke, the Crimson Tide had reeled in six impressive wins in a row. Alabama suited up for the 2013 Third Saturday in October which Alabama went into the game leading 50-38-7 with a six game win streak over Tennessee. Alabama started out slow and not scoring until 5:39 left in the second quarter with a 13 yard rush from QB Phillip Sims to put Alabama up 7-3. Alabama forced a three and out and struck fast with a 80 yard pass from QB Philip Sims to WR DeAndrew White to put Alabama up 14-3. Alabama would find the endzone on their next two possessions with passes from QB Phillip Sims from 78 and 28 yards out to end the half up 28-3. Alabama was shut down in the 3rd with their only points coming from a 21 yard FG by Sam Jones to go up 31-3. QB Phillip Sims would throw a pick 6 to Tennessee on their first possession in the fourth but Alabama then drove down the field and kicked a 36 yard FG to close the game out. Next week the Crimson Tide travel to Death Valley to face the #6 LSU Tigers in what could be the game of the week.

    FSU blanks Wake Forest 42-0
It was a forgettable game for FSU QB Clint Trickett who completed only 12/31 pass attempts but he was helped out by a defense that held their opposition to 50 yards passing and an average of 1.6 yards a carry on the ground. Wake could only convert 7% of their 3rd down attempts. Backup RB Devonta Freeman was the player of the game as he rushed for 113 carries and 2 touchdowns on just 11 carries.
