Well, we are officially at mid-season. Very close races for the most part with a few outliers. The top teams have definitely been established so the rest of us have our work cut out for us. Here are the notes for Week 9: We lost a couple of members this week due to rule violations. Everyone agreed that they know and will follow the rules. We know small mistakes will be made and will work with you guys on them. But gross disregard for the rules will not be tolerated. Hopefully, we've had to remove our last person. On the more positive side, the league is gaining interest with some of the more established members now that we are finding some stability. We could possible have two new members by the end of the night. As everyone know, stats are a big part of leagues on TSO. We expect those to resemble real life as closely as possible. Here are a few stats that we look at and where we would like them: Yards per pass - The NFL average is ~7.0. Top QBs like Aaron Rodgers average about 8 YPA. In the game stats will naturally be a little high, but we would still like to see them around 10 or lower. I'd say 75% of you guys are in that ranges. The rest of you, just work in some more drags, slants, curls, ins and outs. That's just part of being balanced. Yards per carry - The NFL average is about 4.0 and the top guys like Adrian Peterson are usually between 4.5 and 5.0 YPC. Again, Madden stats will be slightly inflated but we expect everyone to come in around 6.0 or less. 75% of you guys are under 5.5 but for the few that are high, just try mixing in some more inside dives and inside zones and maybe cut out a few toss/sweep plays. Sacks - Everyone is doing fairly well on these. About 2-3 per game is normal. The only outlier is the Texans but they were inflated by the previous owner. I'm sure those will come down. 4th Down Conversions - Outside of the Jets former owner, these also look fairly realistic so good job on those as well. Everyone keep up the good work and remember that myself, Jbbubba and Crumbler81 are here to help. Lean on us if you have any questions, comments or suggestions. Now go play some ball!
