In what has been a disappointing year for both Coach Dave & Coach Jeremy, their respective teams had to strap it up and focus on their Week 9 matchup.

The Giants came into Minnesota with a 1-8 record and the Vikes were not much better in the the win column at 3-4. But what is a medicore NFC North, if the Vikings could get to .500 they could enter week 10 tied atop the division.

Tim Tebow got the nod as Vikings Qb for the second straight week and he would give a solid performance. Tebow lead his team down the field on their first drive and capped it off with a 27-yd strike to WR Sidney Rice in the back of the endzone. The Vikings defense stood strong for the entire first half of football as they kept the G-Men off the scoreboard. Adrian Peterson would add a 2-yd goal line run at the end of the first and the score stood at 14-0 as both teams headed into the halftime tunnel.

Coach Dave found a way to motivate his team in the 2nd half. They played much better on both sides of the ball.

With 2:50 left in the 3rd Eli Manning found WR Mario Manningham on the left sideline and one broken tackle later, Manningham got the Giants to within one score @ 14-7. But the Giants hopes would be quickly dashed when Vikings KR Darius Reynaud scooted up the left sideline for the 99-yd TD, his 2nd since taking over KR duties. Giants HB Brandon Jacobs would cut into the defecit with a late 3rd quarter 9-yd TD run. Again the Giants pulled with 7 as the fourth quarter began.

The Vikings went to their bread & butter in the 4th and fed the OMFL rushing leader the football. It paid off and Ryan Longwell all but sealed the game with a 41-yd FG with 1:40 on the clock.

Tim Tebow had his best day as a Viking. He was effecient and smart with the football. Tebow finished the day:
    11/16, 191 yds, 1 TD, 0 Ints, 3 rushes, 26 yds

    KR Darius Reynaud
    3 kick returns, 52yd avg, 1 TD, long 99
