The Panthers win 2 in a row, beating divisional rivals Tampa. The Panthers jumped out to a early 14 - 0 courtesy of 2 4yard TD runs by DeAngelo. Buccs came back to tie things up, but the Panthers score again right before the half thanks to another 4 yard TD run by DeAngelo Williams. At the Half the Panther led 21 to 14.
Then 2nd Half the Panthers Defense continued to harass Josh Freeman. The Panther add a 4th DeAngelo Williams TD, this one from 7 yards out and Charles Godfrey stepped in front of a Freeman pass for his 2 int of the game and took it 28 yards to paydirt. Panthers now found themselves up 35 to 14. The Buccs managed just a FG at the end of the 3rd.
The 4th counldn't of started off any worse for the Panthers, with failed offensive drive and then Rookie WR. Trent Jones returning the punt 77 yards untouched for the score. The Panthers were able to keep there lead adding a couple more Ints from Freeman, (who had 7 on the day) Kicker Shaun Suisham would kick 3 FG's throughout the 4th Quarter give the Panthers a 44 to 23 lead. Buccs would add 1 last TD within a minute to end the game. Panthers get out of Tampa with a 44 to 30 win and head back home to take on the the 7-1 49ers.
