    Week 9 Summaries

LSU rolls past Georgia in commanding form 63-21! LSU needed a great showing for the 22 Recruits that where present to watch the game on their visit. Jefferson had a big day throwing 4 td's on 267 yards, he was 23-25 and 1 pick. Holliday had another big day as he makes a serious bid for the heisman today rushing for 212 yards on 25 carries with 3 td's. Toliver was a beast catching 9 for 173 yards and 4 td's. CB Eugene had a 49 yard pick 6 on D. LSU still has hopes of a National Championship as either Alabama #3 or Tennessee #2 will lose this week in their head to head match up. LSU will however be rooting for Alabama to win as the LSU Tigers face them week 10 in a huge showdown.

Offense Explosion In Kansas! Graham Harrell threw for over 450 yards and 5 scores and Freshman RB Baron Batch (great name) had his first 100 yard game of his career on the ground and added 3 rushing scored and Texas Tech blows out Kansas 63-35. Tech continues to struggle against the computers catch up offense, letting up 28 points in the second half. Tons of missed tackles, and dropped Int's gave Kansas 3 easy scored late. Not to be overshadowed was Freshman reciever Rashad Hawk who has developed into a solid #2 reciever made 7 grabs for 168 yards and 2 scores. Game one down in a crazy 4 game stretch for tech there schedule is as follows...

    at #9 Kansas
    vs #8 Texas
    vs Okla St (user)
    at #1 Oklahoma
