LaTroy Pittman breaks back out with a 2 TD performance to neuter the #1 and undefeated Bulldogs
This is why Georgia wanted him. This is why Florida wanted him. The kid who was rated a :4stars:talent felt he was underrated. He was right. LaTroy Pittman came up big for Florida as they continue to settle their SEC destiny. Pittman totaled 5 reception 89 yards and 2 TD's to help the Gators best the Bulldogs in Jacksonville. The Gators set the tone early and would never trail as reserve safety Pop Saunders would jar the opening kickoff loose from the Bulldog return man setting up Florida to score on a Brissett to Hammond 9 yd td pass to open the game's scoring. Brissett continued to be steady with 3 more TD passes and a pick six that he has a liking for. However, the Gators were able to keep Aaron Murray and the Bulldog offense at bay and when a big one 24-17.

    Too Raw For TV
Thomas Rawls adds the 1-2 punch Michigan has been missing as UM cruises, 24-3.

Watching Thomas Rawls' every move, on and off the field.
Michigan gives Nebraska the business 24-3.
Denard Robinson goes 9-16 for 100 yards through the air with a TD and rushes 6 times for 115 and a TD. Robinson is complimented nicely by Justice Hayes who ran for 42 yards on 8 carries and Thomas Rawls who rushed 21 times for 103 yards and 1 score. Fitzgerald Toussaint's time was greatly decreased as he only saw 4 carries but made the best of them for 25 yards.
Defensively, Kenny Demens and Jordan Kovacs each had 9 solo tackles on the day combining for 6 TFL and 2 sacks. Blake Countess snagged a pick for the Wolverine defense.
Michigan's defense held the Cornhuskers to 205 yards total on offense.

    TENNESSEE BREAK THROUGH
Vols Come of Age With Road Win Over Gamecocks.
8 points to Florida, 7 to Georgia and 1 to Alabama. That's all the Vols have lacked from taking down the big boys and reclaiming their spot atop the SEC. Saturday in Columbia, it looked as though the Vols were going to wither once again. Down 21-14 with under 2 minutes remaining, Tyler Bray and the UT offense took the field as they had against the 3 schools above, with the game on the line. This time was different. Bray hooked up with Da'Rick Rogers for 62 yards and his 10th (yes, 10th) TD reception of the year to tie the game with right at a minute to go. After a quick 3 and out, Devrin Young stood back to recieve a South Carolina punt in hopes of setting Bray and Co. up for another late score. Young was weary from seeing his most significant action at RB after both Marlon Lane and Rajon Neal both went down with injuires. (At one point our 3rd string TE, Brendan Downs, came in to spell Young and ran for a TD. That's how thin we are.) 61 yards later, Young was celebrating in the endzone and Tennessee had stole the game.
Now 5-3 (2-3) on the year, the Vols will host Troy for homecoming and hope this win sparks a run that produces a New Year's bowl game.

Pitt Keeps Bowl Hopes Alive in Closing Seconds!
The Panthers know that every game counts now. Knowing that they would force a three and out on the first drive and then the offence would have a solid first drive which ended withe a 1 yard Ray Graham TD run. UVA would respond back with a TD run of their own to tie the game. Pitt would then have another great drive and it would also end in a Ray Graham TD run this time it was a 16 yard scamper. In the second quarter UVA would tie the game with a TD pass. In the last drive of the half for Pitt they would get all the way down the field but UVA would pick it off in the endzone. UVA would end up picking up a FG off that turnover. 17-14 UVA at halftime. Pitt would take the lead back by the end of the third quarter with a pass of 41 yards from Tino Sunseri to Devin Street. 21-20 at the end of the third. The next score would be by the Panthers yet again as Tino Sunseri would find Mike Shanahan for a 5 yard TD pass. UVA would score with 3:14 left in the game but they failed on the 2 point conversion to tie the game. The next drive for UVA they would drive all the way down to the 1 yard line but with less than 10 seconds left on the clock they would for some reason decide to run a play on which they would get a TD and it would put them up by 4 with 4 seconds left on the clock. Pitt would end up taking the touchback on the kickoff. This would leave Senior QB Tino Sunseri 1 play to keep the bowl hopes of the Panthers alive. Tino would step back in the shotgun and he would see Devin Street running down thev field wide open. He would hit he in stride for the Pittsburgh Panthers touchdown and the win!

    Final Score:

    Pitt 35

    UVA 32

    Play of the Game
    Street winning TD

    Wins Add Up

Clemson's streak is at 7 games after their defeat of the Demon Deacons.
WINSTON-SALEM- The Clemson Tigers invade BB@ T Field and run past the Demon Deacons in impressive fashion. The offense for the Tigers was pretty much unstoppable using a balanced attack to neutralize the no-huddle offense by Wake Forrest. The win was a team effort and no one particular player had any outstanding numbers to boast about. The defense did however play to ability Coach BG has been waiting for this entire season; holding Wake Forest to just 231yds of total offense in the game. Next up for Clemson; The Syracuse Orangemen.
    Final Score: 40 - 6 Clemson
