Tar Heels cant keep up with VT, go down 45-28
VT proved too touth as they quickly jumped out to a 21-0 lead. UNC battles back to bring it as close as 28-21 in the third. But VT's relentless defense and solid run game took over and the Tar Heels had no answer.

Arkansas trying to get the first down on the final drive of the game, ultimately it would lead to a TD Run and the Victory. QB Brandon Allen balled hard throwing for over 400 yards on his way to a record day

Undefeated Tigers defend their home turf against Syracuse.

DEATH VALLEY- The Clemson Tiger's get another victory, this time at the hands of The Syracuse Orangemen. This game wasn't really close at all as Clemson's freshman phenom QB Chad Hall had himself a monster ball game. He completed 17 of 26 passing attempts for 325yds and 4 td's. "We have the capability to be a very good, if not great football team. Our only problem is being consistent in how we execute the game plan Coach puts in every week. If we can do that, the sky is the limit." Clemson's QB Chad Hall
The running game for Clemson was pretty mediocre, but I believe most of that was due in part to the aggressive play calling from the ol ball Coach trying to spark the passing game. The defense was led by MLB Stephone Anthony who account for 13 total stops (8 solo) and a sack. Next up, an ACC showdown between undefeated Maryland, which has National Title implication written all over it.
    Final Score: 48-10 CLEMSON

Iowa snatches a victory from the jaws of defeat. The Purdue punter pinned us inside the 1 yard line with just under 2 minutes to play and no timeouts. First down yielded an incomplete pass. Second down saw Watson make a little room for the QB. Third down saw another incomplete pass that was dropped by Kevonte Martin-Manley. A crucial playcall on fourth down led to another shot towards KMM, and this time he came through. The next play, JP Brooks took the read option and got pulled down by his facemask. It put the ball out to the 36 after the penalty with the clock stopped. A big play to Hamilton took us out of bounds just past the 50. The next play, Brooks found Holmes, and Holmes took it down inside the 30. A run by Canzeri netted a 10 yard gain, and the ball was at the 19 with 30 seconds to go and a first down. Enough time for a look or two at the endzone, then take the tie and force OT if it came to it. One play was all that was needed. Brooks found RS FR TE Jamie Berry, one of his favorite redzone targets. Berry is a beast when it comes to going up for the ball. He uses his height and size well to keep the defender away from the ball. This time was no different as he came down with the catch in the endzone to put the Hawkeyes in front, 30-27. After the kickoff, a long pass to the 50, a crucial sack by LTP, and a deflected pass at the 5yd line closed the game for the Hawkeyes.

Iowa overcame 4 turnovers, a great run defense by Purdue, and what has been the best punt I have seen to date, to come out of this "Made for B1G" rivalry game still undefeated.

Tennessee gets taken behind the woodshed against the Alabama Crimson Tide. I think the final score was 45-17. The Tide running game gashed the Vols for over 200 yards while their defense had 6 turnovers (4 INT's, 2 fumbles) and numerous sacks. QB Justin Worley was benched in the 3rd but backup QB Frye didn't fare much better with a pick on his first attempt and coughing up 2 fumbles. Overall, a disappointing showing for the Volunteers.
