Texans Break the Losing Streak It was an offensive battle in Houston. The scoring started with a 40 yard TD pass to Derrick Mason. The Browns responded with TD pass of their own in the first quarter. At the end of the first the score was 7-7. In the second quarter the Browns were driving down the field but Jonathan Joseph but a stop to that as he pick a pass off and went 77 yard to the house. The Texans would get the ball back later in the quarter and Schaub would connect with Walter on a 19 yard TD. This made the score 21-7. The Browns would find their rhythm at the end of the quarter and drive down the field and score with a TD pass from McCoy to Massaquoi. This made the score 21-14 Houston at halftime. The Browns would manage to keep their rhythm coming out of half as they would score 14 unanswered points once on a pass to Cribbs and again on a 1 yard run with Jackson. This would give the Browns the lead 28-21 but the Texans would respond. The Texans threw a screen pass to Foster and he would break it and go 79 yards all the way to the end zone to make the score 28-28. In the forth the Texans Defense would finally stand tall not letting a score the whole quarter. The offensive would capitalize on this strong D Mason would score his second TD of the game this one was a 50 yard strike from Schaub. Schaub would find another one of his favorite targets as he would hit Daniels for a 23 yard TD pass. These two scores would make the score 42-28. This score would end up being the final score.
