    Week One Advance

I'm back home now, and I'll be looking to advance to week one as soon as I can get everything together. Might be a little while, as I have to adjust a few schedules, but I'll mostly be looking to keep the defaults in place, save a few schedules that might fit together nicely.

    It'll be this evening sometime.

I'm working on the schedules now. As soon as I get it done, we move ahead.

    Go read GameDay.

    OK, we have advanced.

I had to mess with schedules a bit. The highlights:

    - I really stacked Oklahoma's schedule. Couldn't help it. But on the upside, there a championship rematch coming up, as OU and Florida now play.

    - GT is rekindling an old match up with Notre Dame later in the season. GT no longer plays Florida.

    - Texas and LSU play in week one. Both had only one user game by default schedules. It was the easiest fix.

The rest you'll see when you log in.

I didn't know exactly what to do. The new teams left me with three teams with only one user game. I tried to make games that were close to what might happen, but with the way things were, I would have only had two user games, and Dat would only have played Army and Michigan. Oklahoma keeps its schedule, and adds Florida. I moved GTech off Florida's schedule to play ND. Texas had only 1 game, and so did LSU, so I matched them in week one.

There's a reason I started working on schedules a month in advance. If anyone would like to duplicate my efforts by starting another dynasty and seeing if you can come up with something better, I'll listen.

But as long as it's in my lap, I'm going to do the thing.

I decided to go with the championship rematch, LSU-Texas, GT-ND, and Army-OSU because that seemed the best combination of possible games. Some are regional, some are historical, and one is a rematch of last year's title game. It didn't feel perfect, but it felt as close as I think I can get.

We can always go back, and one of you guys can figure it out. Who's gonna volunteer for that duty?
