    West Virginia Season Preview

    West Virginia Mountaineers

    TOP RETURNING PLAYERS
RB Noel Devine- 1,289 Rushing Yards last season
QB Jarret Brown-114 Passing Yards last season
WR Alric Arnett-466 Receiving Yards last season
LB J.T. Thomas-65 Tackles last season
DE Julian Miller-3.5 Sacks last season

West Virginia coach Bill Stewart did a pretty decent job in his first season as West Virgnia head football coach. What may ultimately determine how well West Virginia fares this year will be if they can replace the production that Pat White gave West Virginia during his time at the school.

    STRENGTHS
West Virginia is returning the majority of their defense from last season, with 8 players. With a young defense last season, West Virginia only gave up around 17 points a game. The West Virginia linebackers are becoming very effective at getting past blocks and getting into the backfield. The linebackers will have to continue to help out the defensive line at getting pressure on the quarterback. Star running back Noel Devine also looks to have another stellar season, but it will be interesting to see how his production rises or drops without the versatile Pat White behind the offensive line with him. New starting quarterback Jarret Brown will need to get off to a solid start. In the West Virginia spread offense attack, look for them to pass the ball more than last year so that QB Jarret Brown can get familiar with his WR targets.

    WEAKNESSES
The biggest weakness for West Virginia this season will be losing Pat White. White threw for almost 2,000 yards and ran for almost 1,000 yards. Also on the offensive side West Virginia is completely replacing the offensive line. Brown does not possess as much mobility and speed than Pat White, so if the offensive line cannot protect him, the offense will begin to look ugly real quick. It will be interesting to see how West Virginia adjusts to moving to the ACC. If the West Virginia offense can play decent enough to help out the defense, then the Mountaineers can be in the hunt for the ACC Championship.

Will we be able to change out of conference teams on our schedule? If so if anyone is interested we can set up a game out of conference.

first off, nice post. and yes you will be able to change the schedule, just a reminder but you must have at least 3 user vs user games per year, and are not allowed to play FCS teams.
