first of all, I've never trolled here -period. I have a short history here and havent cracked any jokes as of yet . Thats the truth. so what if its not perceived as a route? neither are alot of those bizarre long curvy or slightly angled routes that take too long to develop it appears. No human runs a prefect angled square in or out route...so, maybe leave the slant in but have it straight forward for 2 or 3 yards before the slant...and quite frankly, it was the great route against dumb random cheesers online LOL
No one else at TSO plays random cheesers online. We appreciate realism and the fact that it is a fictional route irritates us.
I dont disagree with wanting the realism. But if thats the case,..get rid of the bump animation that seems to take 3.5 seconds while a blitz gets you in 2 seconds. I dont really like playing randoms either, but sometimes no ones available, theres no league game and you want to play a game thats not as predictable as the AI.so sometimes you wander into the online ghetto LOL
I agree that the animation where the reciver and the DB are locked in a tango needs to be replaced. maybe with a animation where the DB re-routes the reciever, changing the timing of the route, causing the icon of the reciver to light up a second or two later
Users create nanos, we don't want glitch routes in the game... It's pretty simple. Eliminate the tools people use to be cheeseburgers
If I had faith that the EA Guys could make something that's better than XFN is right now, I would be all for this idea... However, with XFN, I do not think we need any type of salary management built into the game at all for Online Franchise.
Its a cheesebuger deluxe tactic that people use when they know they're up against man coverage. Don't know the route thats used to do it but they send the WR in motion and before he comes to a stop they hike the ball and it leaves the WR open almost all the time. Freaking rediculous
I am pretty sure we saw video on this being gone, or perhaps that was NCAA but this has been remedied to my knowledge
just use zone defense all the time anyway. Man defense is pretty useless in the game. All it does is make defenders chase receivers, not really cover them. There should be more pre-made/designed plays in game where the corners or just outside corners are in man and everyone else is in zone...
really ? guys in TMFL would probably roast you in zone all day lol , I play man 65-75% of the time and gave up 5th lowest points per game in our league. To each his own I guess though
people probably dont run enough LOL..it also depends on which zones you pick..but again, everything I have observed over time..man defense doesnt really help..it just means you chase the receiver, especially if they call verts....every kid in the country thinks that a nickle-man cover- with a linebacker blitz is the all purpose defense and they call it every down...or quarters LOL...of course, more often then not, they are using Pittsburgh,SF or Eagles, etc because the user needs no brains to be good on defense with those teams because the players awareness and speed and hit power are way overrated LOL
How often do you really play Madden? I'm curious because I thought you were the dude with the NCAA Football teambuilder fetish
