I figured since i'm in the OA an awful lot, i provide you guys with the latest workings in the NBA. This will mostly center around the CPU teams since we already know what we're doing.

Wow - Stuckey raped the Pistons on that deal. He was the reason I was able to almost beat Detroit. It's much easier to defend a team that has a PG that refuses to shoot from outside of 15 feet. And I mean, he will not shoot it - even if you are 7 feet off of him.

The Pistons are the reason there is a lockout.

What kind of contract must Collison want? Shocked that Hill got that kind of coin...

    What's Going on In Phoenix???
2 days after signing an extension for an additional year, Hill mentions retirement

Phoenix, AZ: On November 8th veteran forward Grant Hill was excited to announce the signing of a new deal that would keep him in Phoenix for one year longer for 7.42 million dollars. "I'm excited to stay here for another year. I love this city and my teammates," were the words on that November afternoon. Now inexplicably in a post game news conference two days later in Cleveland, Grant Hill announces he is retiring at season's end and then walked off the stage. This by no means should have been in frustration. The Suns just completed an 88-57 schlacking of the Cavs with Hill recording 8 points and 7 boards in 28 minutes of action. What's the real story here? Will Grant really hang up his sneakers at season end? What does this say about Hill's character? Does this become a distraction in the Suns locker room? We'll keep a close eye on this story and see what happens as the season wears on.

Told ya the Suns should have jumped on that offer from the Clips that would have gotten them Aminu and a 1st rounder....

BLOCKBUSTER Deal Between Detroit & San Antonio
    [IMG] for [IMG]

Detroit, MI: Thats right folks. The Spurs and Pistons have swapped shooting guards. Now this wasn't a straight up 1 for 1 trade. The Spurs also threw in backup point guard Chris Quinn and the Pistons sent promising forward Jonas Jerebko to San Antonio. This moves puzzles us here on NBA.com, but we will see how this works out. Hamilton makes slightly less money than Manu but that can't be the driving force in this trade.

I agree, Manu is way better than Hamilton......

BTW - JFace said that you are now the proud owner of Al Jefferson? I vetoed the trade but I'll be honest I don't know how many vetoes you needed.

Let Bondzai007 and I talk about it. However, while I understand you didn't intend to do this deal, we aren't going to let you trade Jefferson for a guy that 1) wouldn't be fair to whichever team you'd be dealing Jefferson to, and 2) is a guy that you wouldn't have been able to get with Ellis anyway.

Put together a list of guys you'd prefer and what their information (OVR/contract/potential) is, so we have that for reference. Also, we'd need to know what other pieces aside from Ellis/Jefferson were involved in that deal.

The spurs are in fire sale mode apparently, as they trade Tony Parker to the Jazz for Devin Harris.

For the past couple seasons the Spurs have been rumored to be parting ways with TP. Most thought that was alleviated with the dealing of George Hill. Guess 2K didn't get the memo...

    OKC Locks Up Westbrook

    7 years, $106 million contract.

This move will keep Durant and Westbrook together for 6 more seasons, which should in theory, mean at least 6 years of contending for the NBA title.
