Whats your biggest need heading into the offseason?
For Missouri it is definately DT. With 3 DT leaving as seniors, that only leaves us with 2. We got 3 DT on our recruiting board & 1 has already committed to us & the other 2 have soft verbals to us.
I have some big holes to fill and not enough scholarships available. I'll need help at DL, MLB, HB, and WR. The MLB help will likely come from internal personnel. I've signed two good DE to compliment a young corps and I have a couple DT prospects on the board now.
I only have 2 or 3 more scholarships to give out in the offseason. For next year, the priority is gonna be some beef on the DL and some speed in the secondary. Oh, and I think I'm gonna need to recruit a kicker.
1. Deciding on a direction for my playbook. I have the #1 QB Greg Booker from last year's recruiting class, who was redshirted last year, and Jason Jones who took over middle of the year this year.
Booker is a prototypical pocket passer with a cannon, and Jones has 83 speed and I heart the option.
2. Getting depth at the LB position. I will be losing 5 out of the 7 LB's on i have on my roster.
Losing QB Kassanavoid and RB Guidry also losing 3 lineman..... got a backups ready at QB and RB but my backup lineman are terrible........
my middle backer Slaughter is leaving.......backups are badd....
my safety Boyd is leaving.......
defensive lineman Williams is leaving.... got a 4 star d-lineman coming...
The QB position is going to be a problem for me next year.
I had a 5 star WR that was on my list and would have been huge, but damn Virginia Tech took him.
I recruited a bunch of secondary to keep up with the passing attack from a bunch of the teams I face. I am hoping next year to recruit defensive linemen and offensive linemen.
I need a HB.......FU Ryno.
oops wrong Tradition.
Don't worry, you're welcome here Jms!
damn this post has positives and negatives im happy the Huskers are losing depth at LB.... but two serious QB's to deal with...... shit..
