Who are your favorite players in college football history . . . that did not play on your favorite team?

Always loved this guy. This was kinda when I realized that I loved college football and started following all aspects, not just things associated with Tennessee. At that time, Tommy Frazier was the icon of the sport. Sorry in advance, sdid22 , but this probably is his most memorable highlight.

    Oh boy...

Well, I think this first one should come as no surprise.

    Truly inspiring.

Those who have played NCAA with me for awhile should remember my love for CJ

    Sorry sdid22

The Rocket was a young diddy favorite, the Lavar Leap was special, beast of a player seemed so much bigger than everyone else.

Best individual performance I ever witnessed in person was Cecil Collins (Soph.) against Auburn in 1997. 27 carries for 232 and 2 TDs. LSU outrushed Auburn 377 to 65 and LOST the game 31-28.

Gerry DiNardo was a hell of a coach. I was sad to see him go from LSU. He really could have set that program back an additional five years had he stayed two more. lol.

The video is somewhat longish (4 minutes), but the runs are impressive. Cecil the Diesel was tragic figure. Guy could have won a Heisman or two.

I hated David "Deuce" Palmer. Personally responsible for a couple of Ole Miss losses to Bama when we might have been the better team. The Reb D was killing Bama in 1992 (?) and looked good for the win until they knocked QB Jay Barker out of the game. Bama put the Deuce at QB and proceeded to get the points needed for the win using the QB scramble/draw as their base play. Fuck Bama!

Alright, I have to get in on this. You all know my first one. After that may be some confusion.

This one was one of the reasons I became a Hawkeye fan.

    And my homer video.

I love what he did to the Purdue player. Twice.

This first one here is for you SteamboatReb

As you can tell, I tie some of these guys in with whom I use in past NCAA leagues. McCluster is one that I grew fond of through NCAA and paid special attention to IRL.

    Jahvid

The Dayne. Was extremely amped to see him end up in NY

I can't even do an H22APWRD94 dive into my favorite homer picks. Poz was probably my favorite, along with Lee, Connor, KiJana, Michael Robinson...on and on.

It was my hatred for OSU that showed my emotions on how I felt for AJ Hawk and Laurinaitis, but the guys were ballers and although my hater shades were kept on, I thought they were great.

I think you have to get somewhat attached to some of your conference opponents players because that is who you see playing the most. Hell, I even enjoyed watching Minnesota's Willie VanDeSteeg...and the Golden Gopher's suck.

Eric Foster and Ray Rice out of Rutgers were favorites as well.

To this day, I cannot understand why Florida, FSU and Miami ignored him. He was a top 100 guy in Florida (which might as well be top 100 national). Dr. Phillips HS in Orlando. First time I saw him touch the ball live there was no doubt he was the real deal. He was designed for the college game.

sdid22 Did you remember the game that McCluster run was from? That string of victories my Rebs had in Gainesville run together in my mind. Guess I am getting old. lol.

It was quite natural for Tebow to project himself as a Job or Jonah type-figure, because the Rebs brought some Old Testament style wrath down on the young man that day.

I was on my way to a wedding in Gulf Shores and stopped over in Mobile to watch it with OMlawdog We hit up a wing joint. I was damn near late for the wedding because I had already planned on the game being a blowout. Figured I would have lunch and be on my way at halftime. Damn I love college football.
