I guess I'm out of the loop on this one so I'd appreciate it if someone filled me in. Is John Galt a thing? I've never heard of John Galt before, and assumed Ajs made it up lol. Anyway, I bring this up because I saw this in the parking lot at school and just about shit my pants!

I don't have time to tell you the full description, but he's the man whose ideas are going to stop the engine of the world.

John Galt found Atlantis. When he saw it he decided the rest of the earth was no longer worth seeing and sank his ship.

I read Atlas Shrugged over Christmas break when I was 12. Great book, but I prefer The Fountainhead. Roark is my favorite Ayn Rand character...he is a bad ass.

When we no longer have TV, then I'll start reading.

My brother is also a much bigger fan of the Fountainhead as well. I'm going to re-read the great gatsby after I finish Atlas shrugged and then probably knock out Fountainhead.

I've been reading for 2 weeks or so and am 200 deep. It's actually a pretty easy read that keeps you turning pages. I read Emma by Jane Austen recently and it was so painful. I barely struggled through the ridiculous prose. It was only 3-400 pages and took me a couple of months.
