Why not negative recruiting??? Guys - Wouldn't it make sense in some recruiting pitches, that a low interest and a low grade act as a double negative and be a positive pitch? For example, if we are recruiting a kid from California who has no interest in proximity to home, and our grade is D, then aren't we a good fit for him? The criteria is the closer the school is to his home, the higher the grade to coorespond with his higher desire to stay home. So if the young man wants to spread his wings and get away from his naggy-ass high school girl friend, he should be enticed by the lack of proximity to home, no? Same for any pitch where the kid says that's of no interest. Or am I just praying someone will take pity on dat poor U and come to Oxford? It'll be a long ass dynasty for me.
