    Why not negative recruiting???

    Guys -

Wouldn't it make sense in some recruiting pitches, that a low interest and a low grade act as a double negative and be a positive pitch? For example, if we are recruiting a kid from California who has no interest in proximity to home, and our grade is D, then aren't we a good fit for him? The criteria is the closer the school is to his home, the higher the grade to coorespond with his higher desire to stay home.

So if the young man wants to spread his wings and get away from his naggy-ass high school girl friend, he should be enticed by the lack of proximity to home, no?

Same for any pitch where the kid says that's of no interest. Or am I just praying someone will take pity on dat poor U and come to Oxford? It'll be a long ass dynasty for me.

At least drop the pitch from consideration once you have unlocked the pitch.

"Hey Steve, great game last Friday. I've only got 30 minutes to speak with you, but let's spend 10 of it on the fact that you don't care about program prestige and we are shit on a stick! Uhh...hello...Stevie...ya there?"

I hear what your saying...the kid has no interest in program prestige, champ contender, coach prestige...come to Buffalo where we have none of that shit!! It would be cheaper than PAYING one star recruits to miss tackles

Exactly. I like how we're forced to use other pitches, but we should be able to block the recruits least favorites ones some how.:confused:

I think when you change the topic the topic you changed should not come up again that call...it would make it a little more fair, plus you can control how many changes you get by changing the difficulty of recruiting...in lieu of that its back to fundraising

What would be helpful is if they allowed us to enter in some criteria. For example, I know of two recruits that have a particular fondness to one kind of my pitches. But the way it's set up now, I have to use the generic Money, Hoes, or Clothes. This makes it tough.

    [IMG] all a brother knows....

Had I been able to customize the pitch to showcase the Jesus Shuttleworth treatment (a la Chasey Lain & Jill Kelly) instead of the vanilla single female visit, he would have signed weeks ago. And we should have that kind of option! If it's in the game...right? I mean if I offer "cash" to a kid, it's kind of weak. Is that a show box full of $20s? Is that a new house for his folks? Is that a primo coaching gig for his unemployed dad? You feel me? Here at Dat U, we have so much to offer, but it's tough to package it correctly.

Also, there's another recruit where I'm #2 to Temple. The kid flat out demands his "campus escort" is a specific ethnicity. Man, if I could cycle through a few of those efforts to find a recruit's sweet spot, I could probably land a 4 star guy next year.

Damn you EA, for forcing your puritan views on me.:rolleyes::mad:
