    Colts 31 Raiders 6

Andrew Luck and the Colts won with no problem in Oakland. Andrew Luck tossed 3 touchdowns and threw
For 163 yards and weny 13-17 on passes in the game. Donald Brown was able to rack up 140 yards and a td on 18 carries. But it was the Colts d who harassed Terrelle Pryor all day bringing him down 8 times. 6 of the sacks were accounted for by Dwight Freeney who looked like a man possesed out there.

Waiting for the Colts are the Steelers who look like a very tough team for Indy. We'll see if Andrew Luck can continue to carry his team deep into the playoffs.

Saints win Turnover Battle, Move to Divisional Round

    Untitled.jpg Untitled2.jpg

In an epic battle by the Bay, the New Orleans Saints pulled out a close road victory against the San Francisco 49ers. Led by Darren Sproles and the powerful Saints running game, New Orleans constantly pounded the rock and gained huge yardage.

But the story of the day, was turnovers. On the Saints first possession, a long drive down the field, it abruptly ended with a turnover from Sproles. On the ensuing 49ers first play from scrimmage, hit stick from Lofton and Saints recover the ball. It was obviously gonna be a long day for both teams.

The '9ers jumped out early and took control of the game. Leading at half 28-20, a FG after halftime had the 49ers up 31-20. But Brees and Sproles refused to go down easy. With 154 yards on 21 carries, Sproles took over the second half. Brees was 13 fro 19 on the day with 3 TDs and no ints.

Alot of back and forth in this game. One team would seem to be taking over and a turnover would change the entire outlook of the contest. It went like this for for quarters. Even at the end the 49ers had a good chance to win, but Kaepernicks finally INt, of his 3 for the day, sealed their fate.

Dolphins take down Texans at Reliant

This game was a back and forth battle for most of the game. The Dolphins came out firing on the very first drive but was stopped short when J.J Watt bounced off to read a screen, picked it off and took it for 6. It was a rough start for Miami when their very next drive was a 3 and out and Houston was able to put up another 3 points. The Dolphins were able to recover putting up 14 straight points to take the lead. From there on the game would go back and forth until the 4th quarter. Houston had a very questionable pass interfence call late in the 4th quarter which might have put the dagger in them. Houston dropped down by 12 with 1:20 left trying to make a comeback, Schaub would throw an interception to seal up the game. Coach Winkler and the Dolphins are moving on to the Divisonal round where they will face off against divison rival New England. The Patriots were able to capture both regular season games when Coach Winkler was absent, we will have to see if his presence will produce a different outcome!!

    Packers Defeat Lions Again 37-24
The Packers continued their dominance over the Detroit Lions this season with a victory in last week's NFC Wild Card Round. The Packers defense proved to be key once again forcing Matt Stafford to throw 4 INT's in the game. Stafford also was responsible for a lost fumble as well and recorded 5 total turnovers for the game. Detroit found themselves playing catchup for majority of the game due to early mistakes and were never able to recover. A.J. Hawk had one of his best overall games in the NFL with 2 interceptions and a forced fumble. The Packers will now travel to Carolina to play a very underrated Carolina Panthers team led by QB Cam Newton. This will also mark the return of HB Jonathan Stewart to Carolina for his first game since being traded away earlier in the football season.
