    Wild Card Round!!!

    Tennesee @ Jacksonville

These two teams met twice during the regular season and the home team won each game. Jacksonville came out with an opening drive TD on an L.Redmond 4 yard run. Tennessee marched back down the field and tied up the score on a Chris Johnson 17 yard run. At the end of the 1st qtr. the score was 7-7.

Tennessee had a couple of drives stall in the redzone and result in no points. These kind of mistakes usually will cost a team, but dispite that the Titans took the lead anyways on a Jared Cook Jr. 6 yard TD catch. Of course the Jags would answer right back... S.Squirek took a crossing pattern the distance 62 yards while following a great lead block into the endzone and we were once again knotted up at 14. The Titans drove back down the field and even though they fumbled as the ball crossed the goalline it didn't matter because Bo Scaife was there to pounce on the ball. Halftime score Tenn-21 Jax-14

3rd quarter begins with Titans having the ball. Didn't matter though because in this back and forth affair it was the Jags turn to score. They proceeded to stop the Titans and get the ball back. A.Lelie then went 71 yards to pay dirt and the score was tied again. 2minutes later the Titans capped off another TD drive on yet again a 6 yard pass to TE Jared Cook Jr. By now everyone should get the theme. JAX marches right back down the field and scores a TD with :25 secs left in the 3rd quarter. Not to be outdone, the Titans give the ball to CJ2K on a counter that he takes 71 yards for the TD to end the 3rd quarter with Tennessee leading 35-28.

The 4th quarter started off with Jacksonville scoring on a 22 yard scamper by MJD. Not even 1 full minute later CJ2K sealed the Jags fate with yet another long TD run of 59 yards. Both teams scoring for the day was finally done and Tennessee escapes Jacksonville with a narrow victory and now awaits the rest of the WILD Card matchups for this week. GG to theLou and we'll see u next season. Final score is Tennessee-42 Jacksonville-35

    *CJ2K 16 car. 259yards and 3 TD's

    *Kelly James 20/31 399 yards and 4 TD's 0int's
**Ashlie Lelie 8 rec 188 yards 1 TD

***I'd like to give a game ball out to rookie QB sensation Jake Scott who went 12/19 for 179 yards and 2TD's with 2int's. Jake came through when we needed him most and had a couple key plays where he scrambled for 1st down yardage. This kid is really something special!!!

    Green Bay defeats Minnesota

In the early part of the game Green Bay 's offense was clicking nicely as they mounted a 17-0 lead. Minnesota would add a fieldgoal, then after a nice user pick, the Vikings were driving to make a game of when disaster struck.

and then after another Packer stop with 16 seconds left Rodgers would hit Jordie Nelson for a 46 yd TD strike. That would put the lead at 31-3 at the half.
The Vikes would battle hard putting up 14 in the 3rd but the lead was too big to overcome. Make the Final 41-17.

    Browns 7 @ Dolphins 28

The wild card weekend came and went and Cleveland and Miami were the final two teams to have at it before the Divisional rounds. Cleveland lost the toss and Miami elected to Kickoff and away we went.

    1st Quarter

Cleveland's offense came out of the tunnel in tune. Pierre Thomas was carrying the load early for the Browns and was finding some nice holes to squeeze through early on. The Browns offense would catch Miami's D in a stupid coverage and Anderson was able to connect with TE Davis for the first TD of the game as Cleveland would lead 7-0.

    2nd Quarter

With both defenses shutting the oppositions offense down it was a matter of time before one or the other awoke and took command. Finally Miami's ground game was able to step up and answer the Browns 1st quarter TD as Ronnie Brown and his offensive line literally played chain gain and moved the sticks early and often in the 2nd. Ronnie would finally catch some pay dirt around the Left side of his offensive line and galloped into the endzone to bring the game to tie ball game 7-0.

With still under 3 minutes to go in the quarter Miamis defense was able to force the browns to punt deep in its own territory and the dolphins offense was at it again. After a few nice runs up the middle mixed with some pepper out side Miamis offense was once again deep into Browns territory. Miami would get down to the 3 yard line and on 2nd down and goal Ronnie Brown would take the direct snap and ran straight into a 300 + pound wall as in Mr. Rodgers. Rodgers or someone got a hand in and stripped the rock away and cleveland pounced on it and took over with under 2 mins to go. Eventually both offenses had one last chance with the ball but nothing ever came of it.

    3rd Quarter

Miami received the ball in the 3rd and went back to work with its offense. After moving the chains on 5 different occasions and screen pass to Brown would result in a 30 yard pick up and miami was in the Browns redzone once again. Eventually Ronnie brown would redeem himself and cross the goal line to give Miami's it's first lead of the game 14-7.

    4th Quarter

Miami would catch a huge break early in the 4th near midfield when Henne would try to go deep to Ginn on a Play Action and the Browns safety would be called for P.I. @ the Browns 4 yard line. Two plays later FB polite would carry two defenders across the goaline to add on to the Dolphins lead now 21-7.

Cleveland would try to regroup offensively and already in Fins territory Matt Roth would lay a lick on RB Lewis and the ball came jarring lose and CB Sean Smith was there to pick it up and take it to the house for a 65 yard TD fumble recovery putting this game to bed.

The Browns would try its hardest offensively with little time left but Anderson would be picked off two more times by the dolphins defense.

Miami heads into Denver/Balt hoping to keep the drive alive.

GG Trashy and well played. Your offense definitely had the early momentum and had the Phins defense on its toes.

    GL in the offseason.
