Campbell throws 4 picks as Niners advance to Divisional playoffs.

    San Francisco, CA

49ers (13-3) would host the red hot Redskins (11-5) at Candlestick park in what would be a strong defensive showing by both teams. Redskins defense would do a very good job in holding the 49ers offense to field goals on a lot of drives but their offense could never get on track as Campbell would throw 4 picks, one of them Patrick Willis would return 41 yards for a score. Shaun hill (22-29 292yrds 1td) managed the entire game well as he carefully made all the right throws to keep drives alive and used a majority of the playing time as the 49ers would hold the ball for a little over 20 min. Redskins started to show life in the 4th after being held scoreless in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. When after a 49ers FG they would drive 80 yards in 31 secs to close the gap to 20-14. The 49ers would respond by mounting another long drive chewing up clock that would result in another FG (23-14). Redskins started a late drive that looked promising in the beginning but Campbell would throw his 3rd interception of the day as Dre Bly would pick off a pass intended for Randle El. This would surely seal there fate as the 49ers would add a Gore 7 yard td run to lock the win and a possible trip to Dallas.

    Panthers vs. Giants

Good battle between the two power house run games as the Giants and Panthers butt heads on the field. !st quarter was pretty simple with neither teams scoring just controlling the clock with there run games.

    2nd Quarter

2nd quarter Williams takes the ball through the tackles for a 7-0 lead to start off the next quarter. Giants do nothing with there possession and give the ball right back to the panthers who march right back down the field running the ball but get down to the redzone and throw a pick where Phillips takes it 103yds to tie the game up at 7-7 with no time lefted on the clock.

    3rd Quarter

This was still a cat and mouse game with both teams still running the ball eating up alot of clock but the Giants still get 3pts out of it togo up 10-7 with one togo.

    4th Quarter

Giants get another pick and score two more td's leaving very lil time on the clock for the panthers to comeback. Final score 24-14 Giants

Nice defense. Turnovers killed me. The fumble by Portis in the red zone was especially bleak.

I had this game in the bag until I boneheadedly tried to pass it into the endzone late in the 2nd half instead of just running the clock and kicking a FG to go up 10-0...definate momentum and game changing moment.

    g'luck Chris.

BALTIMORE, MD - The Ravens, dressed in playoff blacks, hosted the Bills in a wildcard showdown. The Bills took the ball in a windy M&T Bank and we were underway. After a 3 and out, the Ravens took over with nice field position thanks to a Chris Carr return. Hauschka's 50 yard boot came up short. The Bills moved quickly for the first score. A Jeff Reed 23 yard catch set the Bills up near the goalline. A 3rd down flip to McIntyre gave Buffalo a 7-0 lead. Carr set up B'more with good field position and two redzone drops forced Hauschka on for a FG to open the 2nd. The Ravens would force another punt aided by good field position on a penalty. Right away, McGee would hop a route for an interception. The Raven defense stepped up, stuffing Marshawn Lynch to force Lindell on for a 40 yarder that hooked wide. 2 sacks on the next drive forced a punt. The Ravens D again stuffed Lynch to get the ball back under 2 mins. Ray Rice converted a 3rd down, and Flacco hit Mason for a great over the shoulder TD reception in the endzone. Mason would be shaken up, but the Ravens extended to a 10-7 lead at the half.

The Ravens opened the 3rd with a 3 and out. Trent Edwards started heating up, hitting a few passes until a 3rd down pass deep was intercepted by Landry. Rice and McGahee keyed the next drive, including a nice catch and run from Rice. Flacco scrambled in for a TD run extending the lead to 17-7. Another 3 and out was forced by the Ravens. On the next drive, LJ Smith caught a pass and went 72 yards before being dragged down. The backbreaking play set up a Ray Rice TD run and the Ravens were up 24-7. The Bills were forced to go to the air, and Terrell Suggs intercepted a pass and returned it to the house for the game's final score. The Ravens just got enough offense against a tough Bills D, while the defense held Buffy in check.

Great Game Polo - GL next season, whichever team you land with.

Oakland, CA--The Raiders wouls host fellow division rival, Denver Broncos on this wildcard weekend. The Raiders were looking to go 3-0 against their hated rivals, as they beat them 45-24 in week 3 and 17-6 in week 15. The Broncos were lookin for some revenge, and would come out firing as they easily moved the ball into Raider territory before coming up short on a 3rd down play. Kicker M.Prater would nail a 55 yarder to give the Broncs the early lead. The Raiders Defense again would have to step up because the Broncos D would shut down the Raider attack early and wouldnt let them get into much of a rythem the entire game. All pro CB N.Asomugha took the game over in the 2nd quarter, intercepting 2 passes and returning both for TDs to lift the Raiders to a 14-3 halftime lead. The Raiders would score their only offensive TD in the 3rd when D.McFadden found the end zone on a 3rd and goal from the 4 yard line. Just when the Broncos thought they had something going, SS M.Mitchell picked off a pass and ran 72 yards for another defensive TD. Although, being down 28-3 the Broncos would not go easily, as they would manage to score 2 TDs in the 4th, but a comeback would not happen on this day, as the Raiders would be able to run out the final 3 minutes to hold on for a huge win. Final 28-16
