In a rematch of last year's divisional round matchup, the Jets and Browns would once again face in the playoffs. The two teams met earlier in week 8 with the Jets coming out victorious 24-3 in New Jersey so they knew the Browns would come out looking for revenge. The game started out terribly for the Browns as they would receive the kick and on their first play from scrimmage, RB Jelan Robinson would put it on the ground and the Jets recovered deep in Browns territory. Luckily the Browns defense was up to the challenge and would hold the Jets to just a field goal. After a Browns punt the Jets would put together a nice drive only to be stalled by a great goal line stand by the Browns and were forced to take another field goal to go up 6-0 after one. The second quarter was very quiet as both teams defenses were able to lock down the opposing offense. The Browns would get on the board with a field goal but that would be all as the teams went into the half 6-3.

The Jets offense briefly woke up in the 3rd quarter when they took the kickoff and put together a nice drive culminating in a 3 yard run by RB Ashton Wheeler to go up 13-3. The Browns would add another field goal to make it 13-6. As the Jets were driving looking to add to their lead, Sanchez was picked off by Glover Quin Jr. but Devin Thomas did not give up and chased down Quin forcing the fumble and the Jets recovered completely turning the tide in the game. The Jets would respond with a 3 yard run by Moreno to stretch the lead to 20-6. The defense would take over with 2 back to back pick 6's by Vernon Gholston and Brandon Hughes to widen the gap 34-6 with just under 5 minutes to go in the game. The Browns would strike back quickly with a 71 yard pass to Mohammed Massaquoi but it would not be enough as Ashton Wheeler would take the handoff 65 yards up the gut to seal the game 41-13.

GG Curtis! I caught some tough breaks, but you're always a great opponent. Hopefully I will beat you someday, lol. Good luck the rest of the way.
