It was a good one in Philadelphia. The score definitely was not indicative of how this game was played throughout the course of the day. The Saints passing game found a rhthym early on, and on their opening drive of the game they ate 6 minutes of play clock and put 7 on the board. It would be a constant back and forth game as neither defense managed to stop the others offense in the first half. Teams went into the break with a 14-14 tie. In the second half turnovers would play key for the Eagles. A couple nice picks allowed the Eagles to put some separation between themselves and their opponent. Late in the game, and up 35-21, Nnamdi Asomugha would seal the game with a pick six to put the game out of reach for the Saints. The final score would be 42-21.

Next up for the Eagles are the Carolina Panthers. And while admitting in the post game interview that he had been hoping for a Cardinals win which would have allowed the Eagles to travel to Green Bay, Coach Lazaroe said his team is now focused on Carolina and getting to that next level. The Eagles will look to avenge a week 2 loss against the Panthers in a game which was completely one sided. Should be a good one though, kickoff is scheduled for tonight!
