Houston would come away with a big round win in the first round of the playoffs as the #6 seed defeating the #3 seed AFC North champion Cleveland Browns. The Browns had bad luck from the beginning with 3 first quarter turnovers, which would keep setting up the Texans with short fields and a 17-0 lead. The Browns would then have to play catch-up the rest of the way, but would manage to get a TD right before the half. Unfortunately, they would leave around 1 minute on the clock, and Matt Schaub would quickly guide the team down and score on his 3rd TD pass in the first half to give the visitors a 24-7 halftime lead. The Browns would be able to mount 2 scoring drives in the second half, but so did the Texans on the wheels of Arian Foster, who would end the day with 128 yards on the ground and 2 TDs. Matt Schaub would finish with an efficient 12 of 16, 220 yard, 3 TD performance in the big road win. For the Browns, Mike Vick would have a good game except for the 2 interceptions, going 18 of 28 for 237 yards and 2 TDs, while completing passes to 8 different receivers in the game. Good game Michael Overman Next week, the Texans will again travel to Indianapolis to take on the 16-0 Colts in the divisional round.
