bears vs cards.jpg The Score 28-21, which was more points than the Bears or Cardinals expected to put up seeing as the first meeting between these two teams was a low scoring event full of Defense. But it being the playoffs that all changed.

The Bears won the coin toss an elected to let the Cardinals choose their destiny by mistake lol, so understanly they elected to kick. The Bears got the ball and well started doing what they have planned to do this playoff run and that is put up points. And that they did but on their 2nd posesion as the defensive battle started early. The Cards forced the Bears to punt on their first drive and in turn the Bears defense did the same. But on the 2nd Bears possesion it was all different as a perfectly thrown pass on a breakdown in coverage left TE Rodriguez all alone and VEars went up 7-0.

The rest of the game was a back and forth offensive bonanza by both teams as they would both score and stop each others teams until the 3rd qrtr when the difference maker came upon and that was a bad read by rookie Cards QB that gave the ball to a sensational rookie CB inside the Cards 40yrd line with a chance for a pick 6. Danshaw did just that. The 4th qrt came around with the 28-21 Bears and the ball in the hands of the Bears offense. With only 3 min left the Bears decided to get first downs and run out the clock which they accomplished just that, they didnt score but in turn gave the Cardinals the ball with only 30 seconds or less and no timeouts. The Bears defense did what they been doing and stepped up and stopped any long passes by the Cards and time ran out.

The Bears advance to the NFC Division Game for the first time in Coach ZO's career and face a tuff division opponent in the Packers. Hopefully this time around the 3rd time is the charm.

Great game Curtis and GL on your offseason.

Sorry for the late recap but played Curtis late last night and worked today only to come home and play Troy. Busy Madden two days lol. NFC Division Recap coming up.
