151.2 QB Rating? 4 TDs and ZERO INTs? 72% completion percentage? Who was that playing QB for the Cowboys in week 17? After being kept out of most of the game in week 16 for "precautionary reasons", I guess as a precaution to anymore INTs, and talk of backup B. Weeden getting more snaps in practice this week, Romo responded with his best game of the year. Unfortunately, it didn't matter to anyone except himself.

Now, to be fair, his receivers did a better job of handling his passes. In the RAIN!!! ZERO drops? What in the name of creation is going on here? Is this some sick joke being played by Madden? One lasting memory to give the fans and ownership hope for a better "next season"? Maybe. But after the season Romo had, you can be sure management will be looking ahead and preparing to secure his replacement.

The passing game wasn't all that clicked. Murray did a fine job on the ground as the OL looked to finally be able to block defensive players. Except for that sack they allowed to J. Hatcher, who came over the center so fast he reached Romo at the same time as the snap.

The Redskins just couldn't do much in this game, playing from behind all game. Griffin did score on a nice, 42yd run, selling the handoff until the very last minute and taking a direct route to the endzone. He later put together a nice drive to start the 2nd half, ending in an A. Morris TD and then hitting P. Garcon for a quick strike TD after a Murray fumble in the 4th.

Both teams now prepare for the offseason and upcoming draft.
