#1 Oregon Knocks Off #10 Texas
    Ducks Offense Rolls

Eugene, OR- Oregon's title defense started off with a resounding victory over a top 10 opponent, and the Ducks showed that maybe the 2015 season isn't a rebuilding year...it's a reloading year.

Blake Williams couldn't have had his first start go any better. He outgained the entire Texas offense all by himself, totaling 489 yards of offense. Williams ran for 180 yards and 3 scores and threw for 309 and 3 more scores on 17/19 passing. The Oregon offense was up and down the field all day racking up 308 yards passing and 492 yards rushing for a total of 800 yards. Oregon had a 200 yard rusher, a 100 yard rusher, two 100 yard receivers, and a 300 yard passer.

Williams found Ronnie Martin and Devon Allen for a 66 and a 61 yard TD pass respectively, and broke off TD runs of 80 yards and 58 yards. He also drew the ire of Texas fans and coaches when he slid down after a 14 yard gain late in the fourthon a play where Williams would easily have scored another TD from 60 plus yards out. After the game the Texas coaches were incensed that the Ducks were so blatant about not running up the score.

Thomas Tyner topped the 200 yard mark in his first game of his senior season; he finished with 25 carries for 218 yards and 2 scores. Devon Allen and Ronnie Martin both grabbed 4 passes to top the 100 yard mark, and Jalen Brown caught Williams 3rd TD pass.
