Wisconsin Badgers The 2015 Season could not have started off any better than it has...Well, record wise. The Badgers just lost their Senior star WR/KR/PR Kenzel Doe for the season with a broken collarbone. Also, the starting FB Butler is missing half the season. With that being said the Badgers are in great position for taking their division and conference and giving themselves a fighting chance for a BCS National Championship spot. Below is statistics for mid-season and The "GOODS" and "BADS" so far this young year. The Good The good for this mid-season report is that within 6 games our Wisconsin Badgers has dramaticaly moved from #21 to # 4 in the polls. Statistics to follow... OFFENSEQB Chad Garner 60-92 1038 yards 16TD's 2INT's QB Rating 215.0 (Highest in NCAA)HB Matt Gordon 101-1123 yards 11.1 AVG 12TD's 92 Long 187.1 PPG 0 FUMWR Alex Craft 338 yards 4 TD'sWR Jared Johnson 226 yards 6 TD'sThe Badger offense is the number 1 Scoring offense in the nation. There hasn't yet be a team to even flirt with slowing them down. 6th Best total yards and total offense. 3rd best rushing team. 1st in Points Per Game. We are the least sacked team in the NCAA. We have the best offensive line in the country. This offense looks unstoppable. We are hungry and want to score, score, score, and score even more. DEFENSELE Davon Allen (Freshman) 10 TFL 6.5 SacksLE James Adeyanju 8 SacksThe Wisconsin Defense has been very good this year. Their defense is ranked 9th in the coutry. They are the 3rd best in points allowed per game. We have the 4th most sacks as a team in the country and we are the 2nd best in turnover differential. Look for this defense to get even better as the season moves on. This defense has been playing very many under classmen due to the embarrassing blowouts they have put forth on their opponents. This defense is scary. They are mean. They will make you cry. Most importantly, they will make you throw your controller across the room like eberdeeber. I dare anyone in the nation to make them angry. The Ugly The only ugly that I can say for this 2015 Badgers squad is the injuries to our two starters. FB Butler was an important part of the running game. Luckily we have continued to not miss a beat due to the amazing will of our student athletes. We all have each others back and will always, always, ALWAYS puch forward. The other key injury comes from our star WR/KR/PR Kenzel Doe who has already had 2 special teams TD's this year. His season was ended short after suffering a broken collarbone in his first game back from missing two weeks with a different injury. Again, this team will miss these two brothers but will push forward. Can this 2015 Wisconsin team take it all? Can they go the distance? They have two dominate teams ahead of them. Will they leap over Florida State or USC? It will be difficult but this Badger teams know that they can only control so much. All we need to worry about is Saturdays. Just win baby!
