    Wk.10 Falcons @ Panthers

The Panthers faced division rival Atlanta Falcons in a rematch from Week 2 where the Falcons handed the panthers a loss (38 - 13) and injuryed D.Williams of the Panthers in the 1st quarter for 2 weeks with a broken rib. Riding a 2 game winning streak the 5-3 Panthers looked to keep things rolling against the 7-1 Falcons.

1st Quarter: Both teams Defenses came out strong keeping both offenses off the board until the Falcons found paydirt .27 seconds left in the quarter when M.Ryan hooked up with R.White on a 14 yard strike. (0-7)

2nd Quarter: For most of the quarter both teams managed to trade off 1 FG a piece. Then with just under 2 mins remaining in the half, the Panthers take advantage of the press/biltzing defense of the Falcons. Delhomme saw the one on one coverage on S.Smith and aired out a 54 yards TD pass. On the Falcons next drive M.Ryan forced a bad pass which was picked by C.Godfrey who took it 65yards to the house. HALFTIME: (17-10)

3rd Quarter: Panthers got the ball first in the 2nd half but a turnover gave the Falcons the ball. Falcons took advantage with M.Ryan hitting J.Walsh on a 14yarder. The Panther answered back, again taking advantage of the agressive Falcons Defense this time RB D.Williams left the backfield after the snap on a streak and Delhomme found him for a 78 yard TD. (24-17)

4th Quarter: A key turnover in the 3rd along with a moving drive set the Panthers up with a 1yard TD by D.Williams in the beginning of the 4th. Panthers Defense holds the Falcons to a 4th down in their own territory and holds them. Turnover on downs. Panthers take and adds to the lead with a TD pass to A.Bryant. Panthers get another Int off M.Ryan and just runs the ball wasting the clock. Time expires and the Panthers have won (38-17)

    Key Players:

    CAR. D.Williams - 23carries 1TD 123yards/ 4recs 1TD 135yards

    ATL. R.White - 9recs 1TD 142yards

Good game Claven. I killed myself with turnovers and you had a good offensive game plan
