It would be a day for big play after big play for the Saints. Falcons would drive using both Norwood and Big Man Turner to get down close, but Saints would come up with a sack and force a Bryant 22 yard fg to make it 7-6 Saints. End of 1. 2nd quarter would be all saints and would basically put the game away. Saints would start their scoring off with 6 mins to go in the quarter on a 66 yard td run from bush. 14-6 Saints. After a Falcons punt the Saints would begin another great drive, this time Bush would be tired and Brown would have a 70 yard scamper for the td. 21-6 Saints. Brees would get the ball back with time expiring in the quarter and hit TE Harbor for the 14 yard td pass. 28-6 Saints. Falcons would go all pass heavy and try to get on the board but FS Hatchie would pick it off and return it 82 yard for the pick 6. 35-6 Saints after 1 half. The Saints starters would stay in the game for the first drive of the 2nd half, and Bush would take it in from 16 yards out to put the game out of reach, 42-6 Saints. Then in came all back ups and all positions. Talbert, who was trying to get involved all day, but had the Legend killer Porter on him, finally started to break loose with back ups in. Talbert would get on the board with a 3 yard pass from Ryan to make it 13-42 Saints. Falcons would tack on a 30 yard Bryant FG to wrap up the scoring in the 4th quarter at 42-16 Saints.
