Saints D Steps Up Against Packers For Big Win
    Greenbay, WI- Savage Mason Reporting

Week 15 brought the Saints into cheesehead town to face the Packers. Packers needed a win and the Saints needed to rebound from a horrible loss at the hands of the Panthers 2 weeks ago and continue the momentum from the big win and big plays vs the Falcons. Let's take a look at the stats pre-game.

Pack would get the ball first but were forced to punt not long after the drive started. Saints would begin play after being forced to punt themselves and then getting their first of 5 int's on the day. Bush would punch it in from 6 yards out on a great block from Meachem. 7-0 Saints.

Saints would come back and get another turnover and the Packers D would step up and hold Hartley to a 20 yard fg. 10-0 Saints.

Packers found something that works - the Wildcat. Boutte would take a Wildcat handoff 47 yards for the score to get the Pack on the board and in the game. Boutte is a stud rookie, who will turn heads in the OMFL. 10-7 Saints.

Saints would come right back and on a long 3rd down Brees would find Henderson in a zone D for a 82 yard td play. Packers SS who was playing a deep zone while the cb was playing a short zone, would misread the play and get burnt. 17-7 Saints.

Saints would tack on 3 more fgs as the Saints defense would force 5 int's and totally shut down the Packers attack. Pack put it on cruise control halfway through the 3rd quarter and the Saints take the game 26-7 and have a firm hold on the NFCS with their destiny in their own hands.
