Saints End Season with W, need to get through 1st round if injuries are coming back to help make run.
New Orleans, LA- Savage Mason Reporting

Saints, and the OMFL for that matter, are finally back and looking to wrap up week 17. Injuries are piling up, playoffs are quickly approaching, and Saints coaching staff is afraid of the in coming Cards or 49ers. First thing was first, to wrap up the season and beat the chargers. Chargers, regardless of their record, are a very good and young team who can put up points with the best of them.

Here's a look at how these two teams matched up:

    Scoring Summary:
Story of this game was Tucker. The rookie wr and 1st round selection has taken over for Henderson and showed what he can do. This big bodied wr can catch anything and uses his body to just over power cbs. Chargers would get a huge play from Thomas to get up early, but the Saints would answer with a fade to Tucker.
After a punt the Saints go for big air, something that has finally returned this season for a offense who has struggled with it over the past few seasons. Tucker would hall in a 77 yard td pas from brees.
Second half was all Saints defense and Tucker. Tucker would haul in two td passes from Brees, one of 12 and one of 29 yards while the Saints defense would step up with the picks to seal the game.

Player & Team Stats on the game:
GG Sammy. You're team is very good and with another high pick, you will be very dangerous next year. Thanks for ending the season on a high note.

    Player of the game:
    WR Tucker

9/173/4, thats a state line you would see from a vet who is tearing it up. This wasn't henderson though, it was rookie wr tucker who had a field day on the chargers dbacks. Saints will need tucker to step up big for the saints to last long enough to get more of these injuries back. We'll soon find out.
