Wk 2: Division Opener: Titans 44 Texans 7 Tennessee opened their home game season and their divisional season with a victory in Nashville. The game was pretty one sided after the second quarter. The titans couldn't do any wrong as they took a 17-7 lead at halftime off of a 78 yard rush by Chris Johnson. It was about that time that tragedy would strike the Titans sideline. A few carries into the third quarter Johnson stopped in his tracks and fell to the ground. The word around the medical center is a Miniscus Tear that will keep him out for two weeks and surely slow him down. He is set to due rehab beginning corrective surgery. LenDale White stepped in and showed what he was capable of, rushing only one and a half quarters and getting 113 yards on 14 carries. Likely starting now in place of the injured Johnson. The player of the game however wasn't a running back, it was Tight End Jared Cook Jr. Cook took the first pass of the game 64 yards to the house. He would then take 3 more scores over 40 yards. With 5 receptions and 201 yards recieving, he was this weeks player of the game. Great Game PapaPerry - It was fun.
