    WK 5: Vikings 34 @ Packers 27

The game started off slow as both teams defense were playing well, The Packers would get a Field goal on there opening drive and that would be the only scoring of the 1st quarter. The Vikings were getting the running game going slowly when Peterson had his biggest run of the day. He almost busted it for a TD but a toe tackle brought him down.

Peterson would finish it off later with a 3 yd TD run. Then the Vikes would add a Field Goal. Grant keeping Pace with Peterson would add a 29 yd TD scamper to his total. Then with no time left Crosby would hit a 55 yd fieldgoal, to put the Pack in the lead at halftime 13-10.

Vikings would come out of the locker on fire scoring 2 TD's in the 3rd quarter to take a 24-13 lead going into the 4th.
Pennington hits rookie TE Jenkins for a 10 yd TD strike.

Then to start off the 4th, Vikings kicker Ryan Longwell would a 3 to the board to increase the lead to 27-13. On the Packers ensuing drive Rogers would hook up with Rookie WR Trammell for a 67 TD. The Vikings would grind out a 4 minute drive that was capped off with a 1 yd TD run by Chester Taylor to put the lead back to 14. The Packers would score again but could not grab the onside kick and The Vikings were able to run the clock out after a big run by Peterson.
