WK 6: BILLS (34) @ GIANTS (17) Bills Pressure the Giants, Parrish Shines with a Huge Game. Riding the wave of their last two wins over division rivals, the Bills played their second straight game at the Meadowlands against the New York Giants. Coach Scikotic said before the game that if the Bills were going to win this game, they were going to have minimize turnovers, and force a few through blitzing and confusing Eli Manning. And they did just that.....until the 3rd quarter. After leading 24-3 in the 3rd quarter, Trent Edwards made two ill advised throws after being nearly perfect throughout the game. He forced a pass to Brandon Marshall that was picked off by Danny Clark, and another pass intended for T.O. that was picked off by Corey Webster and returned for a TD which brought the G-Men with 7 points at 24-17. The Bills however responded by driving down the field to the Giants 40. On a critical 3rd and 2, the Bills ran a play out of Wildcat to Roscoe Parrish who broke a tackle and got wide on the defense, picked up a lone block downfield and was off to the races. Parrish also scored on a 5 yard End-Around play in the 2nd quarter to give the Bills a 7-3 lead. The Bills finished off the Giants by picking off Manning for the 2nd time on the game with minutes left. Safeties J'Neddy Timmons and Jarius Byrd finished the game with an INT apiece, and the Bills blitz happy defense recorded 5 sacks on the game, a season high. Marshawn Lynch carried the ball 23 times for 101 yards and a lone TD. Trent Edwards went 19 of 24 for 217 yards, 2 INTs and 1 TD. Brandon Marshall collected 6 catches and 116 yards, but was still held out of the endzone for the 5th straight game. The Bills take on the Houston Texans next week. Player of the Game: Roscoe Parrish - 2 att. 45 yards, 2 TDs. 1 Rec. 5 yards, 1 TD.
