Redemption!! Welker TD stuns Dolphins as Patriots win 3rd AFC East Division Title.

Division games don't get no better than this in the AFC East. In what was probably the last division game between Gaddy and Trude it was a classic. Jumping to the 4th quarter the Dolphins pretty much led all game with their largest lead being 10 points. The Patriots however would tie the game up early in the fourth quarters at 24-24. Dolphins came in with a excellent game plan of keep the Patriots offense out of rhythm and off the field. The running game was not dominate but did its part and Henne was amazing compared to the last outing. The Dolphins would add a field goal in the early fourth to go up 3 and then on the next play as the Patriots begin to drive Welker would fumble the ball giving it back to a stingy Dolphins offense. It was up to the Patriots defense to answer and then did by stopping Ronnie Brown on a big 2nd down and then hitting Gonzalez as the ball arrived to force a drop pass in the endzone that would have put the game away for the Dolphins. Instead they would have to settle for yet another field goal with 1:23 left and 3 Patriots timeouts. Brady would then go to work on another game closing drive. Striking first with Phelps for 12, then connecting with Elderman on a out route. He would then find Moss on a post across the middle and then the man who fumbled the ball earlier would redeem himself in the end. Welker would catch the final three Brady passes with the third being a 16 yard strike leaving 12 seconds on the clock and a 1 pt Patriots lead. Dolphins would try a screen to Makino that he almost broke for the game winner but Bailey chased him down from across the field to make the saving tackle. Brady said "We have to play better, we have been getting lucky lately but we cannot rely on luck to win the bigger games down the line."

    Key notes
Dolphins kept the Patriots off the field the majority of the game leading the time of possession 21min to the Patriots 10min but it seems even that is too much time on the field for Brady. Injuries continue to plague the Patriots as RB Deon Tucker broke his collarbone with that said Patriots trainer was also fired afterwards.

    gg trude.
