Patriots do just enough to get the win in New York.

    1st quarter

Patriots would stop the Giants on their first possession as Eli Manning would throw a interception in the hands of Rookie FS Devon Kelly. Brady would then move the team downfield trying to establish Gore and the running attack but it would be a Brady TD pass to Watson that would open up the scoring (7-0). Patriots defense would make the stops again to get the ball back for their offense and make another solid drive into scoring position this time Gmen would make the stop forcing a Bironas field goal (10-0). The Patriots knew they would have their hands full with the power back Jonathan Stewart as he would score on a 37 yard TD run after breaking several Patriot tackles. (10-7).

    2nd Quarter

Giants would step up again defensively and Eli was once again on the attack. They would get all the way into the redzone where the Patriots would force them into a 3rd and long when Eli would find T.Barclay across the middle in between two defenders for the score (10-14). Brady knew he wanted to get one more score before the half ended and started a drive that was capped off by a 11 yard TD pass to Welker (17-14).

    2nd half

Was all defense by the Patriots and critical stops by the Giants when the Patriots were in scoring range. Patriots would stop the giants on all attempts and tack on 2 more field goals to increase the lead (23-14). Fourth Quarter with 7:00 min left the game would bomb out and lose connection as the Patriots would just run the clock out to finish the game.

Patriots defense racked up 4 sacks and 2 interceptions on the day while Brady threw 2 tds but also 2 interceptions. Gore has yet to break 100 yard rushing on the year. This is the second year in the row the Patriots offense has started slow before heating up late in the season. Patriots will head back home to host the Redskins while the Giants welcome division rivals the Cowboys.
